Se trata de un pool de 10 unidades nuevas, que comprenden 3 volquetes, 3 cargadores frontales, 2 excavadoras hidráulicas, 1 tractor remolcador y 1 tractor sobre oruga, que fueron adquiridas en el marco de los Decretos de Urgencia N˚ 017- 2023 y N˚ 028-2023, emitidos por el Gobierno para hacer frente al evento climático.
El viceministro de Vivienda y Urbanismo, Hernán Navarro, y el viceministro de Construcción y Saneamiento, Jorge Bustamante, llegaron a Piura para inspeccionar la nueva maquinaria, que ya se encuentra lista para empezar a operar, en las instalaciones de la Unidad Básica Operativa (UBO) de Piura.
El viceministro Navarro adelantó que los vehículos pesados serán destinados a diversos puntos de Piura para intensificar los trabajos de limpieza y descolmatación de drenes, quebradas, ríos y canales, que el MVCS viene ejecutando en esta región, a través del Programa Nuestras Ciudades (PNC), en coordinación con los gobiernos locales.
“Piura va a contar con 60 máquinas, denominadas línea amarilla, que nos va a permitir poder afrontar el fenómeno El Niño. Este es un esfuerzo importante que hace el Gobierno para proteger la integridad y salvaguardar la vida de las familias piuranas”, destacó.
El sector Vivienda, a través del PNC, ha adquirido un total de 68 unidades entre maquinaria pesada y vehículos, por un monto de inversión mayor a los S/ 75 millones. A la fecha, se han recibido 44 unidades, que se encuentran en las instalaciones de las UBOs a nivel Nacional.
INTERVENCIONES HASTA FIN DE AÑO
Navarro Franco informó que el Ministerio de Vivienda tiene programado realizar, hasta fin de año en Piura, 27 intervenciones nuevas, en 34.1 km, de limpieza y descolmatación de ríos y quebradas, con el retiro aproximado de más de 108 mil metros cúbicos de tierra y maleza, beneficiando a alrededor de 83,350 habitantes asentados en zonas vulnerables.
A la fecha, se han ejecutado 12 intervenciones similares en puntos críticos y cuatro están en plena ejecución de acuerdo al plan de preparación y respuesta sectorial que se ha establecido para mitigar el impacto del FEN en esta región, conjuntamente con los gobiernos subnacionales.
Dijo también que el MVCS firmará en los próximos días un convenio con la Autoridad Nacional del Agua (ANA) para realizar actividades conjuntas de limpieza y descolmatación en diferentes tramos del río Piura.
SAREs EN PIURA
Por su parte, el viceministro de Construcción y Saneamiento, Jorge Bustamante, informó que los trabajos de instalación de los sistemas alternativos de recolección y evacuación de aguas pluviales (SARE) en Piura, presentan un avance de 87% y estarán culminados a fines de noviembre.
En todo Piura, el MVCS tiene contemplado habilitar 8 SAREs, en Cinco Esquinas, La Molina II, Villa Primavera (Sullana), Nuevo Amanecer, Gullman, Ignacio Merino, Tacna e Irazola, que permitirán proteger a 116 mil habitantes de esta región.
Estos trabajos consisten en la implementación de una piscina subterránea con capacidad para almacenar 1500 o 3000 metros cúbicos de agua de lluvias, que luego será impulsada hacia drenes y quebradas, a través de un sistema de bombeo, evitando así la inundación de casas y vías en zonas urbanas.
El funcionario indicó que su sector ya ha comprado las motobombas, camiones cisternas y otros equipos que se requieren para evacuar las aguas durante las lluvias.
“Las electrobombas deben estar llegando a partir del 25 de noviembre y es lo último que se instalan (…). Lo que nosotros buscamos con los SARES, es mitigar la inundación, lo que no queremos es que se inunden, que va a llover va a llover, y estos sistemas van a permitir la evacuación del agua con mayor facilidad y evitar que las casas se inunden”, explicó.
FAMILIAS SERÁN REHUBICADAS
Como parte de las actividades en Piura, los viceministros tienen previsto reunirse con las familias damnificadas por el ciclón Yaku, que serán reubicadas gracias al Bono Familiar Habitacional (BFH) de emergencia. Se realizará una charla informativa sobre la documentación necesaria para ser reubicadas a fin de que tomen conocimiento de la oferta de vivienda actual.
Son 134 familias damnificadas, en la provincia de Piura, que serán beneficiadas en el primer grupo de atención.
