Tiene 44 años de experiencia en el sector público y privado, es politólogo e internacionalista. Estudió Ciencias Políticas en la Universidad Católica Argentina.
Académicamente cuenta con un postgrado en Administración de Gobierno en la ENA de Francia. También, fue exasesor en las carteras de Trabajo, Energía y Minas e Interior.
DATO: El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, representa al Perú en el ámbito internacional, brindando atención a los peruanos en el exterior. Sus áreas de competencia son relaciones internacionales, política exterior y cooperación internacional.
