“Vengo en representación del Perú, un país milenario, de una riqueza cultural invalorable y cuya política económica está comprometida con una estrategia de desarrollo de mercados abiertos, predecible, en el marco de Estado de derecho y a favor de la inversión”, dijo la mandataria.

“La solidez de nuestra economía ha posicionado al Perú como la cuarta en la región en flujos de inversión extranjera en las últimas dos décadas”, agregó la jefa de Estado durante una sesión de promoción país y atracción de inversiones, organizado por el Consejo Consultivo Empresarial del APEC (ABAC) y el National Center for APEC.

La presidenta Boluarte indicó que el Perú cuenta con una importante cartera de 46 proyectos mineros que engloban una inversión de más de 53 mil millones de dólares, principalmente en cobre.

“Asimismo, mi gobierno impulsa un Plan Nacional de Infraestructura que ha identificado 72 proyectos de inversión prioritarios en transportes, comunicaciones, agua y saneamiento, electricidad, hidrocarburos, ambiente, producción, agricultura y riego, educación y salud”, añadió.

“Sumado a lo anterior, mi gobierno busca consolidar al Perú como un hub portuario en América Latina. Para ello, un gran proyecto en ejecución es el puerto de Chancay, que tendrá una capacidad de movilizar aproximadamente un millón de contenedores al año”, sostuvo.

La mandataria también indicó que se viene impulsando el proyecto del Parque Industrial de Ancón, con una inversión de 762 millones de dólares, el cual estará ubicado entre los puertos del Callao y Chancay, y cerca del Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez, cuya ampliación estará lista en el 2025.

“Como pueden apreciar, el Perú cuenta con grandes oportunidades para la inversión. Somos un socio estratégico para que muchas empresas expandan sus operaciones en el hemisferio”, enfatizó.

La jefa de Estado estuvo acompañada por el canciller Javier González-Olaechea Franco y el ministro de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Juan Carlos Mathews.
