Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe La Autoridad de Transporte Urbano para Lima y Callao (ATU) anunció que algunos servicios regulares, expresos y alimentadores del Metropolitano variarán sus recorridos y paradas, a partir de la segunda quincena de diciembre, cuando empiecen a funcionar las cuatro estaciones de la ampliación norte, que fueron entregadas, de forma parcial, por la Municipalidad de Lima (MML), el pasado 31 de octubre.

La entidad indicó que viene trabajando un Plan Operativo de Emergencia que incluye, además, la implementación de nuevos servicios y rutas a fin de atender la demanda que se generará con el funcionamiento de dichas estaciones.

En paralelo, la ATU viene realizando pruebas del recorrido de los buses sin pasajeros. Ello incluye, las maniobras de ingreso y salida de las unidades en los embarques, la activación de los sensores en las puertas, y la apertura y cierre de las mismas.

Asimismo, se va a realizar la instalación y pruebas del sistema de recaudo y semaforización (seguirá bajo la gestión de la Municipalidad de Lima), entre otros aspectos operacionales.

“Este avance es un hito, porque vuelve a mostrar que cuando las autoridades trabajan de forma conjunta hay resultados. Cuando empezamos nuestra gestión, esta obra estaba paralizada, pero con el apoyo del alcalde de Lima y de Emape, logramos superar estos inconvenientes”, dijo el presidente ejecutivo de la ATU, José Aguilar.

Las cuatro estaciones que empezarán a funcionar a partir del 15 de diciembre son Universidad, 22 de Agosto, Belaunde y Los Incas. Ello implica un recorrido de 7.4 km de los más de 10 km que tiene la obra en su conjunto.

El resto de la infraestructura de la obra, 13 estaciones, un terminal y un patio taller, será entregada por la Municipalidad de Lima, a través de EMAPE, como máximo el 27 de julio del 2024, y beneficiará a más de 350 mil ciudadanos que viven en los distritos de Lima Norte, como Independencia, Los Olivos, Comas, Carabayllo y Puente Piedra.
