El encuentro estuvo liderado por el presidente de ADEX, Julio Pérez Alván, quien reafirmó el compromiso del gremio por continuar colaborando con este proyecto.

“Saludamos los avances hasta el día de hoy del puerto, que si bien es un esfuerzo de empresas peruanas y chinas, vemos con mucha satisfacción la labor de entidades públicas por su pronta culminación”, dijo.

También expresó su interés por promover en Chancay la educación y capacitación de jóvenes en temas ligados al comercio exterior para que estén mejor preparados ante el desarrollo y las oportunidades laborales que implicará el puerto en la zona.

En opinión del embajador de China en el Perú, Song Yang, esta megaobra ayudará al Perú a abrir más sus puertas al mercado internacional, en especial, a los destinos asiáticos. “No solo será beneficioso en el aspecto comercial, sino que elevará eficazmente su influencia en toda la región y demostrará al mundo su disposición de llevar a cabo trabajos pragmáticos”, comentó.

Asimismo, enfatizó en aprovechar el puerto para generar mayores puestos de trabajo, desarrollar la digitalización, aliviar la informalidad y conectar el medioambiente con la tecnología.

“La tecnología 5G se implementará en este proyecto, pues se ha popularizado en China y ha sido una experiencia muy exitosa. Este esfuerzo se verá reflejado en el incremento comercial entre ambas naciones, tanto en la exportación como en la importación de la oferta primaria y, especialmente, de valor agregado”, indicó.

APOYO PÚBLICO
Según la viceministra de Comercio Exterior, Teresa Mera, esta obra constituye una puerta para un mayor relacionamiento comercial con el mundo. “Seguiremos esforzándonos en la aplicación de nuevos protocolos sanitarios que permitan al pueblo chino disfrutar de la excelencia de nuestros productos. En esa línea, trabajamos con la Autoridad Portuaria Nacional, MEF, Sunat y otras entidades, a fin de lograr una facilitación logística por el funcionamiento del Puerto de Chancay”, precisó.

La realización de este proyecto -continuó Mera- trae consigo muchos desafíos; sin embargo, el Estado está convencido de su relevancia y viene llevando a cabo las acciones con el propósito de que tenga todas las condiciones y comience a operar de forma adecuada en noviembre del 2024.

Likewise, he emphasized taking advantage of the port to generate more jobs, develop digitalization, alleviate informality and connect the environment with technology.

This effort will be reflected in the increase in trade between both nations, both in exports and imports of the primary supply and, especially, of added value,” he indicated.

According to the Vice Minister of Foreign Trade, Teresa Mera, this work constitutes a door to greater commercial relations with the world. “We will continue to strive to apply new health protocols that allow the Chinese people to enjoy the excellence of our products. Along these lines, we work with the National Port Authority, MEF, Sunat and other entities, in order to achieve logistical facilitation for the operation of the Port of Chancay,” he stated.

The realization of this project – Mera continued – brings with it many challenges; However, the State is convinced of its relevance and has been carrying out actions so that it has all the conditions and begins to operate adequately in November 2024.
