“Por primera vez en el Perú estamos presentando, en la región de Piura, maquinarias adquiridas con anticipación para hacerle frente al fenómeno El Niño. Desde hace varios meses estamos trabajando en la prevención y hemos limpiados kilómetros de kilómetros de cauces de los ríos”, manifestó.
“Siempre mirábamos por la televisión como arrasaban los huaicos con todo, pero ahora estamos trabajando en la prevención y también tenemos los almacenes con la ayuda humanitaria para atender en el momento adecuado”, agregó.
La mandataria entregó un lote de motobombas, cisternas, máquinas balde, hidrojets, trasvasadoras y volquetes, entre otros equipos y maquinarias para la atención de la emergencia, los cuales son parte de las 416 unidades adquiridas por el Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, con un presupuesto de 422 millones de soles, para beneficiar a 14 millones 600 mil personas de las regiones de Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque, Áncash, Lima, Ica y Cajamarca.
La jefa de Estado también supervisó los avances de los Sistemas Alternativos de Recolección y Evacuación de Aguas de Lluvia (SARE) en Piura, los cuales buscan impedir que los desbordes e inundaciones afecten a las casas y a la población.
“Por primera vez en este gobierno de una mujer andina, decimos hechos y no palabras, porque esta es una gestión honesta, transparente y de lucha frontal contra la corrupción. Vamos a seguir impulsando el desarrollo integral de Piura y de todo el norte de nuestra querida patria”, dijo la mandataria.
Por su parte, el gobernador regional de Piura, Luis Neyra, agradeció a la presidenta Boluarte por las maquinarias y el equipamiento que se dispuso para su jurisdicción porque permitirá una rápida atención de la emergencia ante la inminente llegada del fenómeno El Niño. También reconoció el apoyo del gobierno en transferencias y proyectos para impulsar la reactivación económica.
VIVIENDAS Y TÍTULOS
La presidenta Boluarte entregó los primeros Bonos “Salvando Vidas” a 134 familias de Piura que perdieron sus casas por el ciclón “Yaku”, con lo cual podrán acceder de manera gratuita a una vivienda digna y segura, gracias a una inversión de más de 10 millones de soles.
El valor del Bono “Salvando Vidas” es de hasta 80 mil 586 soles para que las personas damnificadas puedan reubicarse en viviendas del programa Techo Propio.
La mandataria también realizó la entrega de 2,020 títulos de propiedad que beneficiarán a 6,900 personas de las provincias de Morropón, Paita, Sechura, Sullana y Piura.

The president delivered a batch of motor pumps, cisterns, bucket machines, hydrojets, transfer machines and dump trucks, among other equipment and machinery for emergency response, which are part of the 416 units acquired by the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, with a budget of 422 million soles, to benefit 14 million 600 thousand people in the regions of Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque, Áncash, Lima, Ica and Cajamarca.
The head of state also supervised the progress of the Alternative Rainwater Collection and Evacuation Systems (SARE) in Piura, which seek to prevent overflows and floods from affecting houses and the population.

HOMES AND TITLES
President Boluarte delivered the first “Saving Lives” Bonds to 134 families in Piura who lost their homes due to Cyclone “Yaku”, with which they will be able to access decent and safe housing for free, thanks to an investment of more than 10 millions of suns.
The value of the “Saving Lives” Bonus is up to 80,586 soles so that affected people can relocate to homes from the Techo Propio program.
