Esta actividad, cuyo objetivo fue visibilizar la puesta en valor de los recintos de Legado como espacios accesibles en favor de la comunidad, se realizó en presencia de la presidenta de la República, Dina Boluarte, el presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Alberto Otárola y el director ejecutivo del Proyecto Especial de Legado, Álvaro Castro.

Cabe señalar que, en estos espacios amplios, seguros e inclusivos de Legado, se combina una oferta de servicios deportivos, recreativos, sociales y culturales para los ciudadanos y la comunidad de atletas y Para atletas. En ese sentido, vecinos de este distrito acceden gratuitamente a la pista atlética, losas deportivas de fútbol, vóley y básquet y a las canchas de tenis. Asimismo deportistas profesionales entrenan diariamente en las canchas de sóftbol, rugby, beisbol, hockey y pelota vasca.

En esta edición, se celebró la Navidad con un show artístico, acompañado de un compartir y juegos infantiles para que los más pequeños de Villa María del Triunfo y de otras zonas aledañas de Lima Sur pasen un momento divertido y familiar.

Adicionalmente, se tiene programada una segunda fecha que será el domingo 17 de diciembre, desde las 9:00 a.m. hasta las 5:00 p.m. y que contará con actividades gratuitas deportivas y recreativas, así como, shows musicales, feria informativa, entre otros.

La sede Legado Villa María del Triunfo, es reconocida por su integración con los vecinos, quienes practican deporte al aire libre de forma gratuita en su pista atlética, canchas de tenis, canchas de frontón, losas deportivas y ciclovía. Esta sede cuenta, además, con un centro acuático, un estadio de béisbol, dos campos de sóftbol, dos canchas para hockey, un estadio de rugby, cuatro campos de pelota vasca y paleta frontón.

Legado promueve actividades deportivas, recreativas y culturales, en la infraestructura de primer nivel que dejaron los Juegos Panamericanos y Parapanamericanos Lima 2019, para beneficio de la comunidad.
