En el inicio de la marcha blanca de la etapa 1A de la Línea 2 del Metro de Lima y Callao, la presidenta Dina Boluarte informó que este tramo del primer tren subterráneo del país trasladará a sus pasajeros desde la estación mercado Santa Anita hasta Evitamiento en 7 minutos. Este trayecto se hacía antes en 30 minutos.
La mandataria resaltó la voluntad política del Gobierno que permitió destrabar este megaproyecto de transporte moderno en beneficio de la ciudadanía.
“Este Gobierno es de hechos y no de palabras, misión cumplida porque hoy arrancamos”, dijo la jefa de Estado. Agregó que, cuando se concluyan las 27 estaciones de la Línea 2 del Metro de Lima y Callao, se cubrirán 10 distritos en beneficio de más de un millón de personas.
Agregó que durante los próximos tres meses, los pasajeros podrán viajar gratis en las siguientes cinco estaciones que desde hoy entran en funcionamiento: Evitamiento, Óvalo Santa Anita, Colectora Industrial, Hermilio Valdizán y Mercado Santa Anita.
