La recuperación ha sido producto de la acción coordinada de las entidades competentes que lograron detener subastas donde se ofrecían bienes culturales peruanos; así como a la decisión de ciudadanos alemanes quienes han devuelto voluntariamente aquellos que tenían en su poder.
Entre los bienes culturales se encuentran cerámicos, textiles y orfebrería de las culturas Chancay, Nazca, Mochica, Chimú, Tiahuanaco, Inca, etc.
La Embajada refuerza con estas acciones su cooperación con las autoridades alemanas competentes a fin de continuar con la labor de recuperación y repatriación de bienes culturales.
El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores del Perú reafirma su compromiso con la defensa y protección del Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación.

Embassy of Peru in Germany repatriates Cultural Heritage assets of the Nation, from the Chancay, Nazca, Mochica, Chimú, Tiahuanaco, and Inca cultures.
Peruvian News Agency PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe The Embassy of Peru in Germany proceeded with the repatriation of eighty-seven (87) cultural assets that are part of the Cultural Heritage of the Nation, thanks to the appropriate efforts of our competent authorities and the good level of cooperation with local authorities, including the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the German Federal Police.
The recovery has been the product of the coordinated action of the competent entities that managed to stop auctions where Peruvian cultural goods were offered; as well as the decision of German citizens who have voluntarily returned those they had in their possession.
Among the cultural assets are ceramics, textiles and metalwork from the Chancay, Nazca, Mochica, Chimú, Tiahuanaco, Inca cultures, etc.
With these actions, the Embassy reinforces its cooperation with the competent German authorities in order to continue the work of recovery and repatriation of cultural property.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru reaffirms its commitment to the defense and protection of the Cultural Heritage of the Nation.
