Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe El Gobierno promulgó el Decreto Supremo N.° 143-2023-PCM, el cual crea la Comisión Multisectorial encargada de realizar el seguimiento a la formalización minera y a las acciones destinadas a la erradicación de la minería ilegal, así como a la recuperación del ambiente.

La norma, publicada hoy en el diario oficial El Peruano, dispone que este grupo sea liderado por la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) y conformado por los titulares de Defensa; Economía y Finanzas; Interior; Desarrollo Agrario y Riego; Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo; Energía y Minas; Ambiente y Relaciones Exteriores.

A ellos se suman los máximos representantes de la Sunat, Sunarp, la Asamblea Nacional de Gobiernos Regionales, la Fiscalía de la Nación y el Poder Judicial. La secretaría técnica recae en el Viceministerio de Gobernanza Territorial de la PCM, que será responsable de brindar apoyo técnico y administrativo, llevar registro de los acuerdos y custodiar las actas y documentos.

Entre otras funciones de este equipo están el seguimiento y monitoreo de la Estrategia Nacional para la Interdicción de la Minería Ilegal y de las tareas para la recuperación del ambiente.

A su vez, elaborará informes técnicos semestrales sobre el avance de sus labores y presentará propuestas o recomendaciones de desarrollo alternativo, erradicación de actividades ilegales y remediación en las zonas afectadas por la minería ilegal.

La comisión se instalará en un plazo máximo de 10 días hábiles a partir del día siguiente de la publicación del citado decreto, el cual cuenta con el refrendo de la presidenta de la República, Dina Boluarte, el premier Alberto Otárola Peñaranda y ministros de Estado.

El Ejecutivo expresa así su compromiso de afrontar la referida problemática, a través de la articulación de acciones con otros poderes estatales y niveles de gobierno.

The rule, published today in the official newspaper El Peruano, provides that this group be led by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) and made up of the heads of Defense; Economy and Finance; Inside; Agrarian Development and Irrigation; Labor and Employment Promotion; Energy and Mines; Environment and Foreign Relations.

They are joined by the highest representatives of Sunat, Sunarp, the National Assembly of Regional Governments, the Attorney General’s Office and the Judiciary. The technical secretariat falls to the Vice Ministry of Territorial Governance of the PCM, which will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support, keeping records of agreements and safeguarding the minutes and documents.

Among other functions of this team are the follow-up and monitoring of the National Strategy for the Interdiction of Illegal Mining and the tasks for the recovery of the environment.

In turn, it will prepare semi-annual technical reports on the progress of its work and present proposals or recommendations for alternative development, eradication of illegal activities and remediation in areas affected by illegal mining.

The commission will be installed within a maximum period of 10 business days from the day following the publication of the aforementioned decree, which has the endorsement of the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, Premier Alberto Otárola Peñaranda and ministers of State.

The Executive thus expresses its commitment to confront the aforementioned problem, through the coordination of actions with other state powers and levels of government.
