Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe El canciller Javier González-Olaechea Franco presidió la ceremonia en honor a la indexación de la revista Política Internacional de la Academia Diplomática del Perú “Javier Pérez de Cuéllar” que ahora también está incluida en el repositorio Latindex – Sistema Regional de Información en línea para Revistas Científicas de América Latina, el Caribe, España y Portugal.

La publicación semestral especializada en relaciones internacionales es indexada e incluida en el Catálogo 2.0 de Latindex, lo que garantiza a la comunidad científica un nivel de excelencia académica para la generación e intercambio de información. Asimismo, podrá ser citada por otras revistas y publicaciones científicas de alto nivel académico.

Es importante destacar que en dicho catálogo se encuentra compuesto únicamente por publicaciones que cumplen con los más altos estándares de calidad.

Acompañado del presidente del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Tecnológica (CONCYTEC), Benjamín Marticorena, el ministro González-Olaechea destacó que esta indexación es fruto de un esfuerzo de más de tres años, tiempo en el que la Academia Diplomática cumplió una serie de exigentes requisitos.

Agregó que este logro supone un reconocimiento a más de 50 años de esfuerzo continuo en la generación de literatura académica enfocada al progreso de la política exterior peruana y resaltó que en la revista Política Internacional han publicado diplomáticos ilustres como Javier Pérez de Cuéllar y Carlos García Bedoya.

A la fecha esta publicación, editada por la Academia Diplomática del Perú, cuenta con 134 ediciones. La última estuvo dedicada a la “Inteligencia Artificial y las Relaciones Internacionales” y tuvo un récord de artículos presentados para consideración del proceso de selección.

También asistieron a la ceremonia el viceministro de Relaciones Exteriores, embajador Ignacio Higueras Hare; el secretario general del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, embajador Elmer Schialer Salcedo; el director de la Academia Diplomática del Perú, embajador Julio Garro Gálvez; entre otros invitados.

Accompanied by the president of the National Council of Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (CONCYTEC), Benjamín Marticorena, Minister González-Olaechea highlighted that this indexation is the result of an effort of more than three years, a time in which the Diplomatic Academy completed a series demanding requirements.

He added that this achievement represents recognition of more than 50 years of continuous effort in the generation of academic literature focused on the progress of Peruvian foreign policy and highlighted that illustrious diplomats such as Javier Pérez de Cuéllar and Carlos García Bedoya have published in the magazine Política Internacional .
