Las exportaciones regionales en enero del 2024, exceptuando Lima y Callao, alcanzaron los US$ 4 mil 059 millones 679 mil, logrando un incremento de 18.3% en comparación al mismo mes del 2023 (US$ 3 mil 433 millones), indicó la Asociación de Exportadores (ADEX).

Según cifras del Sistema de Inteligencia Comercial ADEX Data Trade, 13 regiones presentaron un comportamiento positivo: Ica (crecimiento de 66.8%), Moquegua (16.4%), La Libertad (20.6%), Áncash (3.2%) Puno (368.2%), Cajamarca (39.1%), Apurímac (12.7%), Pasco (106%), Ayacucho (30.8 %), Loreto (114%), San Martín (37.5%) y Madre de Dios (105.4%).

En contraparte, 10 registraron caídas: Arequipa (-25.4%), Piura (-24.6%), Junín (-13.1%), Lambayeque (-26.7%), Tacna (-57.4%), Ucayali (-40.3 %), Tumbes (-18.8%), Huancavelica (-60%), Amazonas (-8.7%) y Huánuco (-20.8%).

En el mes analizado, China (US$ 1,550 millones), concentró el 38.2 % del total. Le siguieron EE.UU. (US$ 538 millones), Canadá (US$ 264 millones), Japón (US$ 201 millones 720 mil) e India (US$ 200 millones 358 mil).

De los países en el top 20, resaltaron por su evolución India (538.5%), Suiza (107.4%), Panamá (103.3%) y Hong Kong (97%).

TOP FIVE
Con despachos por US$ 952 millones 699 mil, Ica se posicionó en el primer lugar del ranking, siendo la minería tradicional (US$ 445 millones) y la agroindustria (US$ 373 millones 705 mil) sus sectores más destacados. Concentraron el 86% del total de la región.

China, EE.UU., y Japón fueron sus principales mercados y las uvas, cobre, hierro, las demás gasolinas, estaño en bruto, espárragos frescos y congelados y arándanos, sus productos líderes.

Le siguió Moquegua (US$ 448 millones 661 mil) con una evolución de 16.4%. La minería tradicional (US$ 439 millones 146 mil) fue su rubro más preponderante al acumular el 98% del total de esta región gracias al cobre (US$ 232 millones 587 mil) y cátodos y secciones de cátodos de cobre refinado (US$ 153 millones 440 mil).

Con un crecimiento de 20.6%, La Libertad (US$ 437 millones 354 mil) ocupó el tercer lugar. La agroindustria (US$ 193 millones 667 mil) y la minería tradicional (US$ 192 millones 023 mil) fueron sus rubros sobresalientes.

Destacaron el oro, los arándanos, antracitas, espárragos frescos, minerales de cobre y plata, harina de pescado y las demás preparaciones para la alimentación de animales y son demandados por Canadá, EE.UU., China, Países Bajos, Ecuador e India, de un total de 44 destinos.

Áncash (US$ 355 millones 780 mil), tuvo un aumento de 3.2%, ocupando la cuarta posición. China con el 74% del total fue su principal mercado. Sus productos con mayor demanda fueron el cobre, cinc, harina de pescado, plomo, mangos, minerales de molibdeno y arándanos rojos.

Arequipa con US$ 319 millones 057 mil y una caída de -25.4 completó el top five. También tuvo a la minería tradicional (US$ 269 millones 584 mil) como su actividad más importante con una participación de 84.5 % del total. Sobresalieron el oro (US$ 147 millones 250 mil) y los minerales de cobre (US$ 80 millones 255 mil). China, Canadá y Suiza fueron sus destinos líderes.

EL DATO
Con una variación positiva de 368.2% y envíos a Emiratos Árabes Unidos y EE.UU., Puno (US$ 238 millones 983 mil) fue la región que registró mayor incremento en enero, mientras Huancavelica (US$ 3 millones 719 mil) fue la de mayor caída con -60%.
