Asimismo, el Ejecutivo anunció la elaboración de alternativas para afrontar la baja recaudación que afectó la asignación del Fondo de Compensación Municipal (FONCOMUN) a los municipios, hecho que mereció el pleno respaldo de este gremio municipal del país.

FONCOMUN
El Fondo de Compensación Municipal (FONCOMUN) es un fondo establecido en la Constitución Política del Perú, con el objetivo de promover la inversión en las diferentes municipalidades del país, con un criterio redistributivo en favor de las zonas más alejadas y deprimidas, priorizando la asignación a las localidades

PARTICIPARON
En el encuentro participaron los burgomaestres provinciales de Huancayo (#Junín), Lucanas (#Ayacucho), Huancavelica (#Huancavelica), Yauyos (#Lima) e Ica (#Ica), además del alcalde distrital de Sapallanga (#Junín).

AMPE
Es una Asociación Civil de carácter privado que asocia a las municipalidades provinciales y distritales del Perú; tiene como finalidad el fortalecimiento de la institución, con una nueva agenda institucional, reflejada en una mayor participación de los alcaldes, nuevos servicios municipales, y participación política en el quehacer nacional con un acercamiento al gobierno nacional para la dinamización de la inversión, beneficiando a todas las municipalidades del país, a través de Encuentros Descentralizados, Conferencias, Capacitaciones permanentes, Publicaciones, Becas, etc.
