Las naves a construirse en los astilleros de SIMA Perú son un buque multirol, una patrullera oceánica y dos unidades auxiliares de transporte logístico, detalló la mandataria y adelantó que serán las primeras unidades de una gran flota que fortalecerá a la Marina.
“Nuestros marinos contarán con las embarcaciones que les permitan reforzar el patrullaje para combatir los delitos en altamar, fortalecer la defensa nacional y brindar asistencia a los peruanos ante las emergencias que se presenten”, afirmó Boluarte.
“Estamos consolidando nuestra industria naval. Invitamos al mundo a confiar e invertir en el país y en SIMA Perú, el astillero más importante de Latinoamérica”, indicó.
La jefa de Estado resaltó que el impulso a la industria naval se logra gracias al trabajo, en una mesa ejecutiva, de profesionales del Ministerio de Defensa (Mindef), del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas (MEF), de SIMA Perú, de la Marina de Guerra, de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) y de la empresa privada.
“Sigamos trabajando unidos, sin distraernos en hechos anecdóticos que no permiten avanzar, que distraen la atención de un país que sigue creciendo firme y digno hacia su desarrollo”, sostuvo.
