“Tengo el honor y el orgullo de haber firmado la promulgación de la creación de la Universidad Nacional de Carabaya, la que beneficiará a nuestros hermanos de Puno, de Cusco y de Apurímac”, manifestó la mandataria, en una ceremonia realizada en Palacio de Gobierno.

Durante su discurso, la jefa de Estado enfatizó que en la flamante casa superior de estudios se desarrollarán las carreras profesionales de Economía, Contabilidad, Ingeniería Agropecuaria, Ingeniería Ambiental, Ingeniería Civil, Ingeniería de Recursos Energéticos, Ingeniería de Sistemas, Medicina Humana, Obstetricia, Enfermería y Psicología.

“La nueva universidad ofrecerá las mejores carreras para que Puno y el Perú se desarrollen. Este Gobierno no se cansará de seguir apostando y rompiendo barreras para mejorar la educación”, subrayó.

En otro momento, la presidenta destacó que la mencionada universidad se financiará con recursos propios autogenerados, canon minero, ingresos provenientes de donaciones y legados y los que se gestionen con los diversos niveles de gobierno.

“Desde el Ejecutivo, a través del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas, daremos un presupuesto para que nuestra Universidad Nacional de Carabaya inicie sus actividades lo más pronto posible”, subrayó.
