En la sesión denominada “Caminos Creíbles hacia el Crecimiento Sostenible en las Crisis Globales Interconectadas”, el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial dio a conocer las diversas iniciativas impulsadas por el Gobierno para generar desarrollo con protección del medio ambiente y bienestar de la población.

“El Perú viene implementando políticas que promueven el uso eficiente de los recursos naturales, con un enfoque de inclusión social, desarrollando nuevas actividades económicas sostenibles, y creando oportunidades de empleo, con el uso de tecnologías limpias y bajo carbono”, indicó el premier Adrianzén.

En esa línea, detalló que se impulsa un trabajo articulado con distintos actores para relanzar el Plan Nacional de Competitividad y Productividad; con metas específicas al 2030y acciones relacionadas al financiamiento de medidas de adaptación al cambio climático, la gestión de residuos sólidos, la economía circular y acuerdos de producción limpia en diversos sectores.

Asimismo, destacó la reciente aprobación de la Hoja de Ruta de Finanzas Verdes, instrumento que establece las actividades que apoyarán la adopción de criterios ambientales en la gestión estratégica, cooperativa y difusión por parte de las instituciones financieras y del mercado de capitales.

“Este instrumento tiene la expectativa de movilizar recursos privados hacia proyectos ambientales al 2030 por alrededor del 3% del PBI del Perú, es decir, unos 5.8 mil millones de dólares”, añadió.

REUNIÓN CON SECRETARIO GENERAL DE LA OCDE
En su tercer día de trabajo en París (Francia), el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) sostuvo una reunión con el secretario general de la OCDE, Mathias Cormann, con quien coincidió en los avances significativos realizados por el Perú en su camino de adhesión a este organismo internacional.

“El Perú mantiene unas finanzas públicas saludables, una disciplina fiscal estricta y un compromiso en la lucha contra la corrupción”, remarcó el premier, quien subrayó que el proceso para incorporar al país a la OCDE es una política de Estado.

“Peru has been implementing policies that promote the efficient use of natural resources, with a focus on social inclusion, developing new sustainable economic activities, and creating employment opportunities, with the use of clean and low-carbon technologies,” said Premier Adrianzén. .

Along these lines, he detailed that articulated work is being promoted with different actors to relaunch the National Competitiveness and Productivity Plan; with specific goals for 2030 and actions related to the financing of adaptation measures to climate change, solid waste management, the circular economy and clean production agreements in various sectors.

Likewise, he highlighted the recent approval of the Green Finance Roadmap, an instrument that establishes the activities that will support the adoption of environmental criteria in strategic, cooperative management and dissemination by financial institutions and the capital market.

“This instrument has the expectation of mobilizing private resources towards environmental projects by 2030 for around 3% of Peru’s GDP, that is, about 5.8 billion dollars,” he added.

MEETING WITH SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE OECD
On his third day of work in Paris (France), the head of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) held a meeting with the Secretary General of the OECD, Mathias Cormann, with whom he agreed on the significant advances made by Peru in their path to joining this international organization.

“Peru maintains healthy public finances, strict fiscal discipline and a commitment to the fight against corruption,” remarked the premier, who stressed that the process to incorporate the country into the OECD is a State policy.
