En la cita, llevada a cabo en Palacio de Gobierno, se dialogó sobre la situación de la extensión de la IIRSA Norte en el tramo Olmos – Eten, los proyectos de reconstrucción con cambios, las intervenciones para el control de inundaciones y el mejoramiento del riego en el valle La Leche, entre otros.

“Me da gusto ver a gobernadores y alcaldes queriendo sacar adelante los proyectos de sus respectivas jurisdicciones. A ellos les digo que tienen mi total apoyo para impulsar las obras que los pueblos demandan”, enfatizó.

La reunión de trabajo también contó con la participación del ministro de Economía y Finanzas, José Arista; el jefe de Agencia de Promoción de la Inversión Privada (ProInversión), José Salardi; el alcalde distrital de José Leonardo Ortiz, Elber Requejo; y congresistas de la región. Todas estas autoridades continuarán reuniéndose, a través de mesas técnicas, a fin de asegurar el avance de obras.

En otro momento, la jefa de Estado señaló que desde el primer día de su gestión el apoyo a los gobiernos subnacionales ha sido constante, más aún con las regiones castigadas por factores climáticos.

“Cuando visitamos la zona norte del país luego del ciclón Yaku, vimos que no contaban con la logística para atender a las zonas damnificadas. Hemos revertido la situación y hoy los gobiernos regionales cuenta con la maquinaria necesaria, y demás equipos, para intervenir cuando sea necesario”, apuntó.

En esa línea, destacó también que su Gobierno viene interviniendo en la zona sur del país, a través de acciones preventivas para enfrentar el friaje.

“Se están distribuyendo cobertizos y alimentos para los animales, los cuales no están disponibles durante las épocas de frío. Estas acciones forman parte de un conjunto de medidas que se están llevando a cabo para abordar la problemática. Seguramente no vamos a poder resolver toda la problemática en 24 horas porque tenemos que enfrentarnos a décadas de olvido y abandono”, remarcó.

Finalmente, la mandataria resaltó que en lo que va de su administración se han entregado 79 centros educativos y se han destrabado 50 hospitales, lo cual demuestra una apuesta por el impulso a proyectos de inversión con impacto social.

“A través de la Autoridad Nacional de Infraestructura (ANIN) vamos a seguir impulsando los proyectos que se necesitan, pero lo haremos desde esa lucha frontal contra la corrupción que enarbolamos. Vamos a terminar en julio del 2026 con las manos limpias”, puntualizó.

“When we visited the northern part of the country after Cyclone Yaku, we saw that they did not have the logistics to serve the affected areas. We have reversed the situation and today the regional governments have the necessary machinery, and other equipment, to intervene when necessary,” he noted.

Along these lines, he also highlighted that his Government has been intervening in the southern part of the country, through preventive actions to confront the cold.

“Sheds and food are being distributed for the animals, which are not available during cold seasons. These actions are part of a set of measures that are being carried out to address the problem. Surely we are not going to be able to solve the entire problem in 24 hours because we have to face decades of forgetfulness and abandonment,” he remarked.

Finally, the president highlighted that so far in her administration, 79 educational centers have been delivered and 50 hospitals have been unlocked, which demonstrates a commitment to promoting investment projects with social impact.

“Through the National Infrastructure Authority (ANIN) we are going to continue promoting the projects that are needed, but we will do so from that frontal fight against corruption that we champion. We are going to finish in July 2026 with clean hands,” he said.
