Durante su participación en la ceremonia por el 144° aniversario de la Batalla de Arica y Renovación del Juramento de Fidelidad a la Bandera, la mandataria convocó a las fuerzas políticas, a las instituciones, a la sociedad civil y a los ciudadanos en general, a unirnos en un pacto por el Perú.
Con el objetivo de continuar con las obras de infraestructura y de bienestar social que permitan mejorar la calidad de vida de todos los peruanos. “Sin egoísmos, ni cálculos políticos, construyamos nuestro presente que es un regalo de vida, y edifiquemos el futuro que las próximas generaciones necesitan”, manifestó desde la Plaza de la Bandera, en Lima Cercado.
Seguidamente, la jefa de Estado conmemoró el acto patriótico de héroes nacionales, coroneles Francisco Bolognesi y Alfonso Ugarte, y afirmó que el gobierno continuará con su legado patriótico. “A pesar de las dificultades, nos mantenemos firmes en el objetivo de seguir trabajando por un país seguro, unido y solidario”, enfatizó.
Asimismo, afirmó que nuestra bandera bicolor representa la unidad, la integridad, la identidad y la lucha por los intereses de la patria. “Nuestro pabellón nacional nos recuerda el objetivo de construir un país más justo, fuerte, próspero y con mayores oportunidades”, puntualizó.
En el acto patriótico, participaron de la ceremonia el presidente del Poder Judicial, Javier Arévalo Vela; el jefe del Consejo de Ministros, Gustavo Adrianzén Olaya; el primer vicepresidente del Congreso de la República, Arturo Alegría García; el ministro de Defensa, General EP (r) Walter Astudillo Chávez; el ministro del Interior, Juan José Santiváñez Antúnez; y el jefe del Comando Conjunto de las Fuerzas Armadas, General de Ejército David Ojeda Parra.
Dichas autoridades estuvieron acompañadas de ministros de Estado, congresistas y oficiales de las Fuerzas Armadas y de la Policía Nacional, entre otras autoridades.
