“Aquello que fue un reclamo laboral y gremial se ha tornado en una manifestación política. Estamos viendo cómo unos políticos oportunistas se han aupado a esta protesta, han distorsionado sus objetivos y los están instrumentalizando. Estamos frente a una forma de activismo político”, indicó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial.

En esa línea, el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) recordó que cada día de paralización genera pérdidas de millones de soles al Perú, debido a que se impide trabajar a las empresas, industrias y emprendimientos. Además, remarcó que esta medida afecta los esfuerzos del Ejecutivo para consolidar el proceso de expansión de la economía peruana.

El premier Adrianzén también cuestionó que entre las demandas figure la derogatoria de la ley nro. 32108 sobre crimen organizado, dado que ello no puede ser llevado a cabo por el Ejecutivo ya que es competencia del Congreso de la República.

Asimismo, el jefe de Gabinete reiteró al Legislativo la disposición del Ejecutivo de explicar las razones que justifican la necesidad de tipificar el delito de terrorismo urbano. “Nosotros creemos que las cosas hay que llamarlas por su nombre. Lo que está ocurriendo es terrorismo urbano. Hay criminales que utilizan el terror para generar zozobra en la población”, añadió.

Con relación a la efectividad del plan contra la inseguridad ciudadana que impulsa el Gobierno, el premier Adrianzén explicó que sus resultados son progresivos, no obstante, enfatizó que estos pueden ser aun mejores. “El compromiso del Ejecutivo es seguir trabajando duramente para combatir la criminalidad. Que los delincuentes sientan la presencia de nuestra Policía Nacional y las Fuerzas Armadas en las calles”, acotó.

Adicionalmente, el titular de la PCM aseguró que la captura de Iván Quispe Palomino, delincuente terrorista con requisitorias vigentes, en el distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho, demuestra que la declaratoria de emergencia de esa jurisdicción ha sido acertada.
