Así lo anunció el presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Gustavo Adrianzén, en la inauguración de la segunda Mesa Municipal “Fortaleciendo la Gestión Descentralizada – Agenda 2025”, evento que lidera la presidenta de la república, Dina Boluarte, en la ciudad de Tacna.

“Desde el Ejecutivo trabajamos de la mano con los alcaldes distritales, que son el primer contacto con la población, para combatir el flagelo de la anemia y mejorar de manera significativa nuestros servicios de salud, educación, agricultura y conectividad”, indicó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial durante su alocución.

En esa línea, el premier Adrianzén remarcó que la mesa tiene por objetivo mejorar los niveles de ejecución del presupuesto de los gobiernos locales, que en el 2024 solo lograron ejecutar el 68 % de sus recursos. Para ello, informó que durante el evento los equipos técnicos de los sectores brindarán capacitación y asistencia a las autoridades locales, a fin de identificar los obstáculos que dificultan la ejecución de los proyectos.

“Para el 2025 el Gobierno nacional busca profundizar el proceso de descentralización a través del cierre de brechas y el fortalecimiento de las capacidades institucionales para enfrentar la pobreza”, añadió el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM).

La actividad, organizada por la Secretaria de Descentralización de la PCM, cuenta con la participación del gobernador regional de Tacna, Luis Torres; los ministros de Interior, Juan José Santiváñez; Educación, Morgan Quero; Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables, Fanny Montellanos; Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, Durich Whittembury, y Producción, Sergio González; así como de viceministros de Estado. También asisten más de 90 alcaldes distritales y provinciales.

INCREMENTARON PRESUPUESTO DE MUNICIPALIDADES DISTRITALES
El jefe del gabinete señaló que para el 2025 se aumentó en un 10.6 % el presupuesto inicial de apertura para inversión pública de las municipalidades provinciales y distritales del país, lo que permitió incrementar esos recursos de S/14 434 millones en el 2024 a S/15 971 millones en este año.

“Para las 240 municipalidades distritales de los departamentos de Arequipa, Moquegua, Puno y Tacna se les ha asignado 3115 millones de soles para ejecución y 2120 millones en proyectos de inversión”, puntualizó el premier Adrianzén, quien explicó que la propuesta del Ejecutivo es promover los proyectos de construcción de pistas y veredas, y de mejoramiento y ampliación de los sistemas de agua potable y alcantarillado.

RESULTADOS POSITIVOS DEL 2024
En otro momento, el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial destacó el crecimiento económico de 3.3 % alcanzado por el Perú en el 2024, pese a la recesión y el crecimiento económico negativo de 0.6% con la que inició dicho año.

“Hemos alcanzado hitos históricos de inversión que van más allá de los 58 000 millones de soles. Este crecimiento, sin duda alguna, impactará de manera significativa en la reducción de pobreza”, declaró el premier.

La Mesa Municipal “Fortaleciendo la Gestión Descentralizada – Agenda 2025” es una iniciativa que impulsa la PCM con la finalidad de promover el cumplimiento de los objetivos previstos en la programación y la ejecución física y presupuestal de las inversiones a cargo de las municipalidades distritales. La primera edición de esta actividad se realizó en la región Lambayeque el 6 de este mes, con los burgomaestres de la macrorregión norte.

THE BUDGET OF DISTRICT MUNICIPALITIES INCREASED
