La autoridad edil, Jesús Maldonado, señaló en tono lacónico expresó, “Tenemos que adelantar elecciones, se pueden hacer en 90 días; tendríamos un nuevo Congreso, un nuevo presidente”. En otro momento indicó “Entre Pedro Castillo y Dina Boluarte ha habido 13 ministros del Interior, y mi distrito ya tiene 100 muertos por sicariato. Aquí la única solución no es el cambio de ministro porque continuaríamos con la misma frecuencia de fallecidos y sobre todo con el mismo sistema de justicia que no puede parar la delincuencia. Yo creo que la solución es ir al escenario de nuevas elecciones”.
