La visita del presidente de Panamá José Raúl Mulino Quintero al Perú refuerza la amistad y cooperación y nivel de diálogo entre ambas naciones.

Con la visita de Mulino, agregó, se abre una nueva etapa en la relación entre Perú y Panamá, basada en la confianza mutua, la cooperación y la visión compartida de un futuro mejor para nuestros ciudadanos, sostuvo la mandataria peruana.

Por su parte, el presidente de Panamá resaltó que Perú y su país comparten identidad política e intereses económicos importantes, sobre los cuales seguirán construyendo una sólida relación. Asimismo, extendió una invitación a la mandataria peruana para que visite pronto Panamá.

Los cancilleres de Perú y Panamá firmaron una declaración conjunta de intercambio de información en temas tributarios, así como la conformación de un grupo técnico de trabajo interinstitucional conformado por ambos países que propicie el intercambio de información en esta materia con los más altos estándares internacionales.

La presidenta de la república, Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra, hace la entrega de la condecoración Gran Collar de la Orden “El Sol del Perú” al presidente de Panamá, José Raúl Mulino Quintero.

El presidente de Panamá, José Raúl Mulino Quintero, señalo que esta entrega de la condecoración Gran Collar de la Orden “El Sol del Perú”, era muy significativo y compromisorio. “En lo que a Panamá respecta, allí nos tienen como un país amigo y socio del Perú. Perú es cliente de Panamá, cuarto usuario importante del Canal, lo que llena de más importancia esta relación”.

“Hoy también hemos abierto nuevos espacios de entendimiento y cooperación, con el firme propósito de proyectar esta hermandad que perdure en el tiempo y trascienda los gobiernos”. El gobierno peruano ha acordado declarar el 18 de diciembre como el “Día de la Amistad Peruano–Panameña”, fecha en que ambos países establecieron relaciones diplomáticas en el año 1903.

Celebraremos del mismo modo la III Reunión del Mecanismo de Consultas Políticas, y la realización en Lima de la III Reunión de la Comisión Mixta Técnica y Científica, con el objetivo de aprobar un nuevo Programa de Cooperación Técnica para el período 2025–2027.

“Asimismo, esperamos poder consolidar la colaboración y complementación entre ambas naciones, a partir del polo de desarrollo comercial, industrial y marítimo Callao-Chancay”, expresó la jefa de Estado. “Estamos trabajando para facilitar la exportación de productos hidrobiológicos, cárnicos y agrícolas, como los tubérculos. Asimismo, hemos acordado realizar próximamente la primera reunión de la Comisión de Libre Comercio del TLC, a fin de dinamizar aún más nuestros intercambios e inversiones recíprocas”.

“Panamá no solo es un socio comercial, sino un actor clave en el plano multilateral. Compartimos el férreo compromiso de trabajar juntos contra el cambio climático, en línea con la Convención Marco de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Cambio Climático y el Acuerdo de París”.

The foreign ministers of Peru and Panama signed a joint declaration for the exchange of information on tax matters, as well as the formation of an inter-institutional technical working group comprised of both countries to promote the exchange of information on this matter with the highest international standards.

We will also celebrate the Third Meeting of the Political Consultation Mechanism and the Third Meeting of the Joint Technical and Scientific Commission in Lima, with the goal of approving a new Technical Cooperation Program for the period 2025–2027.

“Likewise, we hope to consolidate the collaboration and complementarity between both nations, building on the Callao-Chancay commercial, industrial, and maritime development hub,” the head of state stated. “We are working to facilitate the export of aquatic, meat, and agricultural products, such as tubers. We have also agreed to hold the first meeting of the Free Trade Commission of the FTA soon, in order to further boost our reciprocal exchanges and investments.”

“Panama is not only a trading partner, but also a key player at the multilateral level. We share a strong commitment to working together to combat climate change, in line with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement.”
