“El Gobierno nacional está comprometido con mejorar la calidad de vida de la población del VRAEM. Para lograrlo, es fundamental trabajar de la mano con sus autoridades locales, a fin de focalizar las capacidades del Ejecutivo en las necesidades más urgentes”, indicó el jefe del gabinete ministerial.

La cita se llevó a cabo en la sede de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM), en Palacio de Gobierno, y contó con la participación de la presidenta de la mancomunidad, Digna Sucari, alcaldesa de la Municipalidad Distrital de Río Tambo, y de las autoridades provinciales de Satipo y Atalaya, y los alcaldes de los distritos de Pangoa, Mazamari, Coviriali, Llaylla, Pampa Hermosa, Río Negro, Sepahua, Tahuania, Atalaya y Vizcatán del Ene.

Asimismo, estuvieron presentes los viceministros de Gobernanza Territorial de la PCM, Juan Haro; de Hacienda, del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas, Erick Lahura; y de Vivienda y Urbanismo, del Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, David Ramos; así como el Alto Comisionado para promover el desarrollo en el VRAEM, Raúl Hoyos.

Durante la jornada, las autoridades locales y los equipos técnicos del Gobierno nacional acordaron medidas para impulsar el destrabe de iniciativas priorizadas, con énfasis en la implementación de viviendas rurales, la mejora de las vías de comunicación y el fortalecimiento de las actividades productivas de la población.

TRABAJO PERMANENTE
El viceministro de la PCM, Juan Haro, reafirmó la voluntad del Ejecutivo de promover la articulación con distintos actores para destrabar los proyectos de inversión. “Este es un trabajo permanente que busca garantizar avances concretos”, añadió.

En la reunión estuvieron presentes los equipos técnicos de los ministerios de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social; Vivienda; Construcción y Saneamiento; Transportes y Comunicaciones; Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo; Educación; así como de la Comisión Nacional para el Desarrollo y Vida sin Drogas (Devida).

Cabe destacar que, tras el encuentro, el trabajo técnico continuará con reuniones bilaterales entre los alcaldes y los distintos sectores presentes en la jornada de trabajo, con el objetivo de acordar acciones inmediatas destinadas garantizar la ejecución de los proyectos.

“The national government is committed to improving the quality of life of the population of the VRAEM. To achieve this, it is essential to work hand in hand with its local authorities, in order to focus the Executive’s capabilities on the most urgent needs,” stated the head of the ministerial cabinet.

The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) in the Government Palace. It was attended by the president of the community, Digna Sucari, mayor of the District Municipality of Río Tambo, and the provincial authorities of Satipo and Atalaya, and the mayors of the districts of Pangoa, Mazamari, Coviriali, Llaylla, Pampa Hermosa, Río Negro, Sepahua, Tahuania, Atalaya, and Vizcatán del Ene.

Also present were the Deputy Ministers of Territorial Governance of the PCM, Juan Haro; of Treasury, of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Erick Lahura; and of Housing and Urban Planning, of the Ministry of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation, David Ramos; as well as the High Commissioner for Promoting Development in the VRAEM, Raúl Hoyos.

During the event, local authorities and technical teams from the national government agreed on measures to promote the unblocking of priority initiatives, with an emphasis on the implementation of rural housing, the improvement of communication routes, and the strengthening of the population’s productive activities.

ONGOING WORK
The Deputy Minister of the PCM, Juan Haro, reaffirmed the Executive Branch’s willingness to promote coordination with various stakeholders to unblock investment projects. “This is an ongoing effort that seeks to guarantee concrete progress,” he added.

The meeting was attended by technical teams from the Ministries of Development and Social Inclusion; Housing; Construction and Sanitation; Transportation and Communications; Labor and Employment Promotion; Education; as well as the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida).

It is worth noting that, following the meeting, the technical work will continue with bilateral meetings between the mayors and the various sectors present at the meeting, with the aim of agreeing on immediate actions to ensure the execution of the projects.
