“Tengo el pedido explícito de la presidenta Dina Boluarte de prestar especial atención a sus problemas. Pese a la discriminación (que existe en diversos sectores de la sociedad), ustedes deciden hacer política y nosotros apostamos por el trabajo que realizan las alcaldesas mujeres. Por ello, los proyectos que ya están listos, seguirán adelante”, señaló el premier Adrianzén.

A la reunión asistieron 19 alcaldesas de 11 regiones del país. Tras revisar el estado de los compromisos asumidos en la primera edición del Muni Ejecutivo Alcaldesas, la PCM informó que 10 proyectos de vivienda, agricultura y educación, valorizados en 9.5 millones de soles, ya se encuentran aptos para financiamiento.

“A nombre de todas las alcaldesas, necesitamos prioridad para los demás proyectos que se encuentran en evaluación y que se garantice su continuidad. Solo así vamos a mejorar la calidad de vida de nuestras poblaciones”, indicó la presidenta de la asociación, la alcaldesa distrital de Vilcabamba (Pasco), Modesta Yauri, quien agradeció la apertura del Ejecutivo para avanzar en este trabajo articulado.

También participaron el viceministro de Vivienda y Urbanismo, del Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, David Ramos; y funcionarios y equipos técnicos de los sectores Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo, Educación y Transportes y Comunicaciones.

Por su parte, el viceministro de Gobernanza Territorial, Juan Haro, señaló que la PCM seguirá articulando con los diferentes ministerios para brindar asistencia a los municipios y viabilizar sus expedientes.

Al término de la sesión, el premier Adrianzén informó que se coordinará para realizar próximamente una segunda edición del Muni Ejecutivo Alcaldesas, con la finalidad de seguir avanzando en el destrabe de obras.

The meeting was attended by 19 female mayors from 11 regions across the country. After reviewing the status of the commitments made at the first edition of the Executive Municipality of Mayors, the PCM reported that 10 housing, agriculture, and education projects, valued at 9.5 million soles, are now eligible for financing.

“On behalf of all the mayors, we need to prioritize the other projects under evaluation and ensure their continuity. Only in this way will we improve the quality of life of our communities,” stated the president of the association, Modesta Yauri, the district mayor of Vilcabamba (Pasco), who thanked the Executive Branch for its willingness to move forward with this collaborative effort.

Also participating were David Ramos, the Deputy Minister of Housing and Urban Development of the Ministry of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation; and officials and technical teams from the Development and Social Inclusion, Labor and Employment Promotion, Education, and Transportation and Communications sectors.

For his part, Juan Haro, the Deputy Minister of Territorial Governance, stated that the PCM will continue to coordinate with the various ministries to provide assistance to the municipalities and facilitate their projects.

At the end of the session, Prime Minister Adrianzén announced that a second meeting of the Mayors’ Executive Muni meeting will be held soon, with the goal of continuing to make progress in unblocking construction projects.
