Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe En un paso más para la transformación digital y modernización del sistema penitenciario, el Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos (MINJUSDH), de la mano con el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), entregó modernos equipos tecnológicos al Instituto Nacional Penitenciario (INPE).
Se trata de 24 computadoras de alto rendimiento (workstation) que servirán para el uso del nuevo sistema operativo de administración con el que contará el INPE, un software diseñado específicamente para los procesos e instrumentos que maneja la institución.
Este importante paso tecnológico permitirá procesar información en tiempo real, de manera precisa y organizada, lo que resultará en el diseño de mejores y modernas políticas penitenciarias. Además, con el sistema en funcionamiento, brindará un panorama situacional de la realidad penitenciaria en el país que, con el talento humano capacitado, redundará en una mejor gestión pública.
La actividad estuvo liderada por el viceministro de Justicia, Enrique Alcántara, quien destacó los esfuerzos del ministro Eduardo Arana y de todo el MINJUSDH por “hacer que el INPE mejore su gestión y se modernice con herramientas tecnológicas que estén a la altura del presente”.
Por su parte, Marlon Florentini, vicepresidente del Consejo Nacional Penitenciario del INPE, agradeció el apoyo brindado por el BID a través del Programa de Mejoramiento de los Servicios de Justicia en Materia Penal en el Perú, “porque es alentador saber que el talento humano contará con mejores recursos tecnológicos para trabajar adecuadamente”.
La actividad contó con la participación de Leoncio Delgado Uribe, miembro del Consejo Nacional Penitenciario, y Fabricio Terán, coordinador ejecutivo del Programa de Mejoramiento de los Servicios de Justicia en Materia Penal en el Perú – MINJUSDH.

These are 24 high-performance workstation computers that will be used to operate INPE’s new administrative operating system, a software specifically designed for the institution’s processes and tools.
This important technological step will allow for the accurate and organized processing of information in real time, resulting in the design of better and modern penitentiary policies. Furthermore, once the system is operational, it will provide a situational overview of the country’s prison situation, which, with trained human talent, will lead to better public management.
The activity was led by the Vice Minister of Justice, Enrique Alcántara, who highlighted the efforts of Minister Eduardo Arana and the entire Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (MINJUSDH) to “enable INPE to improve its management and modernize with technological tools that are up to date.”
For his part, Marlon Florentini, Vice President of the National Penitentiary Council of INPE, expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the IDB through the Program for the Improvement of Criminal Justice Services in Peru, “because it is encouraging to know that human talent will have better technological resources to work properly.”
