Más de 500 jóvenes estudiantes, integrantes de organizaciones de base, entidades civiles y beneficiarios de programas sociales participaron de esta actividad, que tuvo como finalidad que la ciudadanía sepa cómo la resocialización juvenil sí es posible, a través de la dotación de competencias y habilidades a los jóvenes en conflicto con la ley.

“Desde el MINJUSDH queremos visibilizar que la resocialización de los adolescentes es posible. En Pucallpa tenemos dos historias de éxito, dos jóvenes que ganaron un concurso nacional de pintura el año pasado, uno de ellos -una vez egresado- ha sido contratado como profesor por el Centro Juvenil para transformar la vida de más jóvenes”, sostuvo el ministro.

La feria, que mostró los trabajos y resultados de los talleres que se imparten en el CJDR de Pucallpa, también congregó a diversos programas y servicios del Estado como INPE, Sunarp, Sunat, Defensa Pública, OMAPED, Devida, Pensión 65, Foncodes, Cuna más, Poder Judicial, Defensoría del Pueblo, universidades públicas y privadas, entre otros.

Durante la caminata y la feria estuvieron presentes el gobernador regional de Ucayali, Manuel Gambini; el viceministro de Prestaciones Sociales del (Midis), Julio Mendigure; el viceministro de Poblaciones Vulnerables (Mimp), Carlos Vilela; el regidor de la Municipalidad Provincial de Coronel Portillo, Américo Torres; y el director ejecutivo del Programa Nacional de Centros Juveniles, Francisco Naquira.

IMPULSO DE COMPETENCIAS EN CENTROS JUVENILES
El ministro también visitó el Centro Juvenil de Diagnóstico y Rehabilitación de Pucallpa para supervisar los talleres técnico-productivos que se imparten en beneficio de los jóvenes en conflicto con la ley.

“Qué satisfacción se siente saber que, aquí en Pucallpa, nuestros jóvenes en conflicto con la ley están adquiriendo capacidades y competencias que les permitirán desarrollar su futuro”, dijo luego de visitar las áreas de Panadería, Agricultura, Carpintería, Agropecuario, Metalurgia, entre otras donde se imparten las medidas socioeducativas para la reinserción social juvenil.

More than 500 young students, members of grassroots organizations, civil entities, and beneficiaries of social programs participated in this activity, which aimed to educate citizens on how youth rehabilitation is possible by providing competencies and skills to young people in conflict with the law.

“At the Ministry of Youth and Family Welfare (MINJUSDH), we want to make it clear that the resocialization of adolescents is possible. In Pucallpa, we have two success stories: two young people who won a national painting competition last year. One of them—after graduating—has been hired as a teacher by the Youth Center to transform the lives of more young people,” the minister said.

The fair, which showcased the work and results of the workshops taught at the Pucallpa CJDR (CJDR), also brought together various state programs and services, such as INPE (National Institute of Public Education), SUNARP (National Institute of Public Education), SUNAT (National Public Defense), OMAPED (Opinion for the Promotion of Youth), DEVIDA (Delivery of Pensioners), FONCODES (National Youth Centers), Cuna más (Cultural Centers), the Judiciary, the Ombudsman’s Office, public and private universities, among others.

Present during the walk and the fair were the regional governor of Ucayali, Manuel Gambini; the Vice Minister of Social Benefits of the Ministry of Education (MIDI), Julio Mendigure; the Vice Minister of Vulnerable Populations (MIMP), Carlos Vilela; the councilor of the Provincial Municipality of Coronel Portillo, Américo Torres; and the executive director of the National Youth Centers Program, Francisco Naquira.

BOOSTING SKILLS IN YOUTH CENTERS
The minister also visited the Pucallpa Youth Diagnostic and Rehabilitation Center to supervise the technical and productive workshops offered to young people in conflict with the law.

“What a satisfying feeling it is to know that, here in Pucallpa, our young people in conflict with the law are acquiring skills and competencies that will allow them to develop their future,” he said after visiting the bakery, agriculture, carpentry, livestock, and metallurgy areas, among others, where socio-educational measures for youth social reintegration are provided.
