“Las fuerzas del orden están devolviendo la tranquilidad y dando duros golpes al crimen organizado y a la minería ilegal en Pataz. El Gobierno nacional, liderado por la presidenta Dina Boluarte, está determinado en restablecer la presencia del Estado en esta zona del país declarada en emergencia”, refirió el premier Arana.

“El Estado Peruano no cederá ante la violencia de los delincuentes asociados a la minería ilegal. A las acciones militares y policiales se suma el diálogo iniciado en la Mesa por el Desarrollo Integral de Pataz, en la que el Ejecutivo escucha a las autoridades locales y a los actores económicos y sociales de la provincia, a fin de lograr consensos en pro del desarrollo sostenible de esa parte del país”, resaltó el jefe del Gabinete ministerial.

A la fecha, el Comando Unificado ha realizado en Pataz 109 operaciones de control territorial, en las que se han incautado armas de fuego, municiones y vehículos por 58 664 043 soles; tres operaciones de interdicción, en las que se han incautado y destruido bienes de minería ilegal por 78 987 398 soles; y seis operaciones de intervención, en las que se han incautado explosivos, armas y otros materiales por 1 852 260 soles.

OPERACIÓN YANAHUMA
Con la operación de interdicción Yanahuma, la más reciente acción del Comando Unificado, desarrollada el 30 de mayo en los anexos Las Pencas y Vijus del distrito de Pataz, se intervinieron siete bocaminas y se incautó material aurífero, molinos, maquinaria, campamentos y explosivos, entre otros elementos de minería ilegal por un valor total de 22 175 615 soles.

Cabe resaltar que todas las acciones militares y policiales en la provincia de Pataz contra la minería ilegal se llevan a cabo en coordinación con la Fiscalía Especializada en Materia Ambiental del Ministerio Público.

El Comando Unificado continuará realizando acciones en Pataz para retomar de manera definitiva el control territorial y frenar el accionar delictivo e insano del crimen organizado en la provincia liberteña.

OPERATION YANAHUMA
With the Yanahuma interdiction operation, the most recent action by the Unified Command, carried out on May 30 in the Las Pencas and Vijus annexes of the Pataz district, seven mine entrances were raided and gold-bearing material, mills, machinery, camps, and explosives, among other illegal mining items, were seized for a total value of 22,175,615 soles.

It should be noted that all military and police actions against illegal mining in the province of Pataz are carried out in coordination with the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The Unified Command will continue to carry out actions in Pataz to definitively regain territorial control and curb the criminal and insane activities of organized crime in the province of La Libertad.
