“Una de nuestras prioridades ha sido fortalecer la protección de nuestras fronteras, respondiendo con tecnología e inteligencia a los desafíos emergentes de la migración. Esto es crucial en un contexto de flujos migratorios crecientes, que traen consigo amenazas a la seguridad como el tráfico de personas, el contrabando y el crimen organizado”, afirmó la mandataria.

Boluarte subrayó que la puesta en marcha de esta central representa un paso fundamental para robustecer la seguridad nacional, la seguridad ciudadana y la inteligencia migratoria en el país. “Lo que antes parecía un sueño lejano, hoy es una realidad palpable. Esta central permitirá a Migraciones supervisar los principales puntos de entrada y salida del país, conectándose en tiempo real con sus jefaturas zonales y el nuevo aeropuerto. Con ello, incrementaremos nuestra capacidad para prevenir riesgos, responder ágilmente a incidentes y mejorar la coordinación con la Policía Nacional, el Ministerio Público y el Poder Judicial”, enfatizó.

La nueva central operará las 24 horas del día, los siete días de la semana, con tres turnos y un equipo de 36 operadores especializados, además de un administrador. Contará con un videowall compuesto por 24 pantallas de 55 pulgadas, interconectadas con las jefaturas zonales a nivel nacional.

La Central General de Monitoreo de Migraciones estará equipada con 140 cámaras de videovigilancia de alta tecnología, incluyendo sistemas de reconocimiento facial, conteo de personas, detección de movimiento y capacidades de inteligencia artificial.

Finalmente, la jefa de Estado reafirmó que este fortalecimiento de la seguridad migratoria es parte integral de las acciones gubernamentales para legar un Perú mejor al recibido en diciembre de 2022.

En el evento, la presidenta estuvo acompañada por el ministro del Interior, Carlos Alberto Malaver Odias; el Superintendente Nacional de Migraciones, Armando Benjamín García Chunga; y otras autoridades y funcionarios.

The new center will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with three shifts and a team of 36 specialized operators, as well as an administrator. It will feature a video wall consisting of 24 55-inch screens, interconnected with the regional headquarters nationwide.
