Entre enero y julio del 2021, exportó productos de ese sector por US$ 399 millones 605 mil, logrando un alza del 38.4% y representando el 94.1% del total (US$ 424 millones 618 mil), informó la Asociación de Exportadores (ADEX).

Sus despachos agroindustriales evolucionan de buena forma. En el 2017 (enero-julio) creció 7%, en el 2018 47%, en el 2019 28% y en el 2020 3%. A la calidad de su oferta se suma también la participación de sus empresarios en misiones y feria de primer nivel, una de ellas fue la Expoalimentaria, que este 2021 se realizará de forma virtual por segundo año consecutivo, entre el 30 de septiembre y 8 de octubre en la plataforma comercial B2Perú.

De acuerdo a la jefa de Ferias del gremio, Shirley Pulache García, Lambayeque tiene importantes productos como la palta, pimiento morrón en conserva, espárragos jugo de maracuyá, mangos, uvas, y arándanos, que son más demandados ahora por la pandemia. “Este certamen, con gran reconocimiento en Latinoamérica, contribuirá con la recuperación económica del país, esperamos la visita de compradores de los cinco continentes interesados en la oferta nacional”, dijo.

La Expoalimentaria Virtual es organizada por ADEX con el apoyo del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (RR.EE.), el Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo (Mincetur), el Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego del Perú (Midagri) y la Comisión de Promoción del Perú para la Exportación y el Turismo (PromPerú) y promoverá no solo alimentos y bebidas, sino maquinarias, equipos y tecnologías, servicios al comercio exterior y envases embalajes.

DESPACHOS
Si bien la palta (US$ 193 millones 493 mil) ocupó el puesto N° 1 como producto no tradicional de la oferta lambayecana a julio, al crecer 62.9% y concentrar el 48.4% de las exportaciones agroindustriales, existen otras partidas dentro del top 20 que presentaron interesantes crecimientos, es el caso de las demás piñas tropicales (245.5%), los demás frijoles (117.6%) y los pallares (105.9%).

EE.UU. (US$ 119 millones 188 mil) es el principal destino al concentrar el 29.8% e incrementar sus importaciones en 33.5%. Le siguió Países Bajos (US$ 108 millones 286 mil) con una participación del 27.1% y un aumento del 57.1%. Otros fueron Reino Unido, España y Chile. Completaron el top ten Corea del Sur, Japón, China, Bélgica y Hong Kong.

Las empresas Gandules INC S.A.C., Avocado Packing Company S.A.C., Camet Trading S.A.C., Complejo Agroindustrial Beta S.A., Agrícola Pampa Baja S.A.C., Plantaciones del Sol S.A.C., Exportadora El Parque Perú S.A.C., Agroindustrias AIB S.A., Agrovisión Perú S.A.C. y Quicornac S.A.C. lideraron el ranking de estos envíos.
