Ministro MTC destaca inversión en la conectividad terrestre y digital en Cusco, durante audiencia descentralizada del Congreso.

Ante los parlamentarios y autoridades locales, el titular del sector destacó que se vienen ejecutando importantes obras de infraestructura para impulsar la conectividad terrestre y digital en beneficio de los ciudadanos cusqueños.

“Este es el gobierno de las provincias y regiones. Desde el MTC trabajamos para promover la reactivación económica, a través de importantes obras a nivel nacional. Hemos venido con nuestro equipo técnico para reforzar los proyectos y obras que se están desarrollando como el Aeropuerto Internacional de Chinchero, la Vía de evitamiento Cusco-Túnel Poroy y el acceso a servicios de Internet en la región”, indicó Silva.

En la audiencia se dio a conocer que el objetivo del sector es fomentar la construcción y mejoramiento de los caminos rurales, implementar un sistema integrado de monitorio y supervisión vehicular, y dar uso a la Red Nacional del Estado Peruano, en modo Intranet, para integrar a las entidades del Estado a nivel nacional para lograr una gestión más eficiente.

Entre los principales proyectos que el MTC se ha trazado llevar adelante destacan los proyectos Vía de Evitamiento Cusco-Túnel Poroy y el de conectividad y digitalización en las 13 provincias de la región Cusco.

Asimismo, se destacó el impulso que el sector viene dando a la construcción del Aeropuerto Internacional de Chinchero. La viceministra de Transportes, Verónica Cáceres, hizo una exposición al respecto. “Hay un avance del movimiento de tierras en el orden de más de un 21% medido al 30 de agosto, nos encontramos con un 6% más avanzado conforme a lo programado”, señaló tras recalcar que el terminal permitiría superar la capacidad del aeropuerto Velasco Astete, aumentando la conectividad del transporte aéreo y fomentando así el desarrollo turístico y económico en la región.

Para el MTC, la conectividad vial es muy importante porque genera desarrollo a favor de los peruanos, pues permite el traslado de personas y mercancías en las diversas ciudades del país de manera rápida y segura.

En esta audiencia que se realizó en el Centro de Convenciones de la Municipalidad de Cusco también participaron el gobernador regional de Cusco, Jean Paul Benavente, congresistas y autoridades locales.

Durante su visita a Cusco, Silva también se reunió con la congresista Katy Ugarte y un grupo de transportistas para escuchar sus principales demandas.
