Así lo manifestó, durante la reunión que sostuvo, junto al presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo y ministros de Estado con la Mesa Directiva y voceros del Congreso de la República, con la finalidad de alcanzar consensos ante los problemas que atraviesa el país.

“Los conflictos los tenemos que resolver mediante el diálogo y así estamos resolviendo una serie de conflictos permanentemente”, señaló. En ese sentido, sostuvo que tanto el Ejecutivo y el Legislativo deben hacer los máximos esfuerzos para trabajar unidos por el bienestar del país.

De esta forma, el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial señaló que el Ejecutivo no se ha pronunciado sobre un cierre del Congreso y tampoco ha presentado una sola ley deduciendo cuestión de confianza. “Hemos presentado un proyecto para resolver este problema. Desde hace más de 5 años tenemos una inseguridad política que crea inseguridad económica”, indicó.

Sostuvo que este proyecto se presentó, de acuerdo a lo establecido en el Acuerdo Nacional, para reducir a su máxima expresión la vacancia presidencial por permanente incapacidad moral. Expresó que, “restablecemos la estabilidad política y con ella, la estabilidad económica, social y todo tipo de estabilidad en el país. El Legislativo, Ejecutivo y el sistema de justicia deben trabajar coordinadamente, porque para eso el país los eligió”, enfatizó.

Asimismo, reiteró que se han dado algunas medidas para atender la inquietud de la ciudadanía, sindicatos, transportistas y agricultores. “Hemos presentado la exoneración del Impuesto Selectivo al Consumo que ahí estamos de acuerdo, tanto el Legislativo y el Ejecutivo”, señaló.

Agregó que, también se está presentado el proyecto de exoneración de Impuesto General a las Ventas a aquellos comestibles que conforman la canasta básica familiar como son los huevos, la carne, la leche y los fideos. “El Congreso evaluará y hará las modificaciones necesarias o hará un nuevo proyecto, pero nosotros estamos haciendo un proyecto técnico”, dijo.

En otro momento, aclaró que la decisión adoptada sobre el Estado de Emergencia se tomó por las informaciones respecto de que se iba a producir convulsión social, robos, saqueos y otras manifestaciones de vandalismo. “
