Así lo anunció hoy el juez supremo Carlos Arias Lazarte, presidente de la Comisión Nacional de Atención al Usuario Judicial (Conaju) del Poder Judicial, durante la ceremonia en mérito a la calificación en el estándar nacional de accesibilidad WCAG 1.0 nivel AA para personas con discapacidad de la página web en mención.

El reconocimiento fue otorgado por el Consejo Nacional para la Integración de personas con discapacidad (Conadis), lo que significa que la página web “El Servicio de Justicia en Tus Manos” del Poder Judicial ha cumplido con las auditorías y estándares solicitados.

“Desde ahora, las personas con discapacidad visual pueden navegar en nuestra plataforma web y solicitar atención al personal en los Módulos de Atención al Usuario (MAU) y los Servicios en Línea, para poder realizar todos los trámites que consideren necesarios”, expresó Arias Lazarte.

El juez supremo explicó que las personas con discapacidad visual, una vez que hayan ingresado a la página web del Poder Judicial, deberán presionar el botón de accesibilidad (ubicado al lado izquierdo de la pantalla) e, inmediatamente, podrán realizar todos sus trámites.

“El usuario con ceguera puede buscar los servicios requeridos escuchando el contenido de cada opción y en el caso de deficiencia visual se puede cambiar los contrastes de colores y también aumentar el tamaño de las letras de la plataforma para una mejor visión”, detalló.

De esta manera, Arias Lazarte consideró que el Poder Judicial y la Comisión de Atención al Usuario están cumpliendo con mejorar las condiciones de acceso a la justicia, al formar parte del 5 % de las entidades públicas que cuentan en su página web con un servicio a favor de los usuarios con discapacidad.
