Durante la reunión de trabajo que se realizó en la sala de Embajadores de Palacio de Gobierno y que duró más de 40 minutos, el mandatario precisó que el Gobierno está llegando a todas las regiones mediante las sesiones de Consejos de Ministro Descentralizado, el cual permite identificar y solucionar problemáticas más urgentes de la población.

En tal sentido, informó que se está trabajando en un nuevo censo que garantizará lograr una cobertura del 100% en los programas sociales, a fin de llegar a todas las personas de pobreza y extrema pobreza.

Luego del encuentro, el mandatario y Rebeca Grynspan se reunieron con el ministro de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Andrés Alencastre Calderón; de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Juan Barranzuela Quiroga; de Economía y Finanzas, Óscar Graham Yamahuchi: de Energía y Minas, Alessandra Herrera Jara; de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables, Diana Miloslavich Túpac y de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, Dina Boluarte Zegarra.

En ese contexto, el jefe de Estado dijo: “espero que lleguemos a concretar temas importantes que los pueblos necesitan. Si hay que agendar los temas más emergentes como la agricultura, transportes, la crisis alimentaria y la salud misma, hagámoslo. Si lo hacemos fuera de Palacio, en una comunidad, mucho mejor”.

En la reunión, donde expuso “El impacto de la crisis económica global de los países en desarrollo y posibles repercusiones en el Perú”, la representante de las Naciones Unidas expresó su preocupación por la crisis de alimentos, de energía y de financiamiento que hoy afrontan varios países del mundo.

Estas “crisis en cascada”, según precisó, encuentran a los países en desarrollo en condiciones limitadas para enfrentarla, por lo que las Naciones Unidas se han propuesto reconvertir sus relaciones, en especial con los países de Latinoamérica y África, para encontrar soluciones conjuntas y adecuadas a cada realidad.

Al referirse al Perú, la funcionaria internacional destacó el fortalecimiento de las ollas comunes para la atención alimentaria de las personas en situación de vulnerabilidad y la alimentación en las escuelas mediante el programa Qali Warma.

Sobre los bonos económicos entregados por el gobierno en el contexto de crisis, Rebeca Grynspan precisó que se trata de una práctica habitual que se está realizando en muchos países del mundo en favor de las familias que más lo necesitan.

Remarcó que el Perú, a diferencia de otros 94 países identificados como expuestos a crisis por escasez de fertilizantes, energía o financiamiento, tiene capacidades y condiciones de mayor fortaleza y resiliencia para hacerle frente a esta crisis global. Sin embargo, sostuvo que hay familias que necesitan ayuda del gobierno.
