En señal de ese compromiso con la población asegurada, autoridades y médicos encendieron velas, acto que se desarrolló en los hospitales Edgardo Rebagliati Martins y Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen, así como en el Instituto Nacional Cardiovascular (Incor) y el Centro Nacional de Salud Renal.
El presidente ejecutivo de EsSalud, Gino Dávila Herrera, encabezó la ceremonia por el Día de la Medicina Peruana en el hospital Rebagliati, desde donde envió su saludo y justo reconocimiento a todos los médicos que laboran en el Seguro Social.
Dávila Herrera, quien es médico de profesión, destacó la importante labor que diariamente realizan los profesionales de la salud, dedicada a la atención y recuperación de la salud de nuestros asegurados.
Asimismo, rindió un homenaje póstumo a los héroes de bata blanca, que durante la pandemia, estuvieron en cuerpo y alma en primera línea salvando miles de vidas, pero que lamentablemente perdieron la batalla contra el coronavirus.
“En esta fecha importante, apreciados colegas, los invito a renovar nuestro compromiso en favor de cada uno de los asegurados. Les agradezco su entrega, dedicación y los felicito por abrazar la noble labor de servir a la humanidad, desde EsSalud”, expresó.
En la ceremonia, se hizo un reconocimiento a los médicos cesantes que dedicaron décadas de sus vidas a la atención de salud e investigación científica.
