En su discurso, el jefe de Estado sostuvo que hoy en día está en juego el destino de la voluntad de los pueblos del Perú profundo, y ratificó la disposición del Gobierno de trabajar de la mano con las autoridades locales y dirigentes para la cristalización de proyectos por años olvidados.

“Ese es el compromiso al cual nos ha llevado el pueblo, no para hacer reuniones clandestinas en hoteles, a puertas cerradas, para tramar contra la voluntad popular, sino para hacerlo abiertamente como en esta pampa, la pampa del pueblo”, puntualizó el mandatario.

Ante las comunidades, el presidente Castillo llamó a los alcaldes provinciales de Andahuaylas y de Chincheros a iniciar los estudios y el perfil del expediente técnico del proyecto Río Chicha, por el cual se busca canalizar sus aguas para impulsar la agricultura local.

“Nosotros pondremos el presupuesto para hacer realidad este proyecto”, afirmó tras disponer que el Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego promueva la formación de un comité que empiece el trabajo que se requiera para concretar esta iniciativa de desarrollo.

Tras recordar que cuando asumió su gestión, algunas voces lo calificaban de comunista y que le quitaría tierras a los campesinos, subrayó que todo lo dicho por estas personas “se pegaron en sus propias caras”, al tratarse simplemente de mentiras.

Además, el dignatario aseguró que, en el marco de la segunda reforma agraria, se impulsarán proyectos como el de una planta de fertilizantes que será prioridad para apoyar al campesino olvidado por tanto tiempo.

“Existe más que voluntad política para ver cristalizado las obras en bien de los niños y las nuevas generaciones”, añadió.

Antes de culminar, el mandatario trasladó el saludo del nuevo Gabinete Ministerial, liderado por Betssy Chávez, que juró en la víspera asumiendo el compromiso de continuar trabajando seriamente en favor de todos los peruanos.
