Según se conoció en la cita trataron temas como las importaciones, el programa nacional Compras a MYPErú y el desarrollo del sector textil y de confecciones para impulsar la economía del país. En la misma participaron los ministros de las carteras ministeriales del Ministerio de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo MTPE, Alfonso Adrianzén Ojeda y del Ministerio de la Producción PRODUCE, Raúl Pérez Reyes.

Entre el 2019 y 2022, las importaciones de los productos textiles y confecciones en el Perú han crecido un 43.4%. Sin embargo, la industria nacional viene cayendo, confesó el titular del gremio industrial del país, el Ing. Jesús Salazar Nishi.

También se confirmó que los despachos de MTPE y PRODUCE presentarán en los próximos días diversas medidas para impulsar la industria textil-confecciones y ayudar a las mipymes, en un esfuerzo transversal por ayudar a las mipymes de la industria textil-confecciones de país.
