El jueves 20 de Abril desde las 3 de la tarde en la sala Alzedo, ubicada en el Jr. Huancavelica 251, del Cercado de Lima, en ceremonia organizada por la Gerencia de la Mujer e Igualdad de la Municipalidad de Lima Metropolitana, 147 emprendedoras recibieron Kits de materiales como capital semilla para desarrollar sus emprendimientos.

Isabel del Roció Ayala Melgarejo, Gerenta de la Mujer e Igualdad, agradeció la asistencia de las mujeres emprendedoras y a La Iglesia de Jesucristo por la donación de los materiales que constituyen en capital semilla para el desarrollo de sus emprendimientos.

Johel Valdivia Manrique, Gerente de Bienestar y Autosuficiencia y Walter Bobadilla Sánchez, Director de Comunicación de La Iglesia de Jesucristo en Perú, acompañaron la entrega de los kits de emprendimiento. Johel Valdivia expresó que todos enfrentamos dificultadas pero tenemos la posibilidad de superar los desafíos con la ayuda de otros.

El Programa Mujer Emprende es un programa municipal de la Gerencia de la Mujer e Igualdad, de la Municipalidad de Lima, que genera las capacidades para el emprendimiento y auto empleo a mujeres en situación de vulnerabilidad de Lima Metropolitana, para integrarse en organizaciones y participar en las dinámicas productivas y comerciales con una actitud propositiva frente a la vida.

El público objetivo son mujeres de 15 años a más (madres adolescentes, jefas de hogar, mujeres en situación de violencia, mujeres en situación de pobreza, migrantes, entre otras).

De enero hasta marzo de 2023, se capacitó a 523 mujeres de Lima Metropolitana, en su mayoría son mujeres vulnerables (víctimas de violencia hacia la mujer, en situación de pobreza, y otros) para potenciar sus habilidades personales y productivas que les permita tener acceso a oportunidades de auto empleo y/o emprendimientos, a través del cual pueden generar ingresos en sus hogares y, así, mejorar su calidad de vida y la de sus familias.

Johel Valdivia expressed that we all face difficulties but we have the possibility to overcome the challenges with the help of others.

The Mujer Emprende Program is a municipal program of the Women’s and Equality Management of the Municipality of Lima, which generates the capacities for entrepreneurship and self-employment for women in vulnerable situations in Metropolitan Lima, to integrate into organizations and participate in productive and commercial dynamics with a proactive attitude towards life.

The target audience is women aged 15 and over (adolescent mothers, heads of household, women in situations of violence, women in poverty, migrants, among others).

From January to March 2023, 523 women from Metropolitan Lima were trained, the majority of whom are vulnerable women (victims of violence against women, living in poverty, and others) to enhance their personal and productive skills that allow them to have access to to self-employment and/or entrepreneurship opportunities, through which they can generate income in their homes and, thus, improve their quality of life and that of their families.
