Adriana Rebaza Flores” ubicado en el distrito de Chorrillos, entregó 13 modernas sillas de ruedas donadas por La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Último Días.
En la ceremonia se contó con la presencia de los 13 pacientes y sus respectivos familiares, los cuales al ser llamados, se dirigieron con emoción a recibir una moderna silla, las cuales le ayudarán a que se movilicen. Reynaldo Rojas, paciente del instituto dijo: “Gracias a estas silla podemos movilizarnos independiente. Agradezco a La Iglesia de Jesucristo por el amor que tiene a su semejante” fueron sus palabras de agradecimiento.
Cabe resaltar que La Iglesia de Jesucristo tiene una buena relación con el Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitación “Dra. Adriana Rebaza Flores”, por las constantes donaciones que brinda la Iglesia a esta entidad. La ceremonia contó con la presencia por parte del Hospital de Rehabilitación, de la doctora Lily Pinguz Vergara, y por parte de la Iglesia, Abraham Waitong, líder local de La Iglesia de Jesucristo y de Areff Segovia, director de Comunicación del Consejo Lima Sur.
En la ceremonia Abraham Waitong, manifestó que los miembros de la Iglesia se esfuerzan por ser como Jesucristo, al brindar un servicio a los que más lo necesitan. “Esperamos que los pacientes beneficiados con la donación sientan la motivación de continuar luchando día a día y los deseos de seguir adelante teniendo espíritu de superación”, señaló.
Como cristianos, los miembros de la Iglesia se esfuerzan por seguir el ejemplo de Jesucristo. Existen innumerables formas en que los miembros de La Iglesia de Jesucristo sirven a personas de todo el mundo.
