La titular del Minsa destacó que los casos de dengue están disminuyendo en el nororiente del Perú, gracias al trabajo articulado entre el gobierno central, regional y local, pero puntualizó que todavía hace falta un mayor esfuerzo, por lo que se ampliarán los recursos para este fin.
“La quincena de abril Piura registraba 2813 casos. Hoy podemos decir que se ha logrado reducir los casos a 543. Nos encontramos en una tendencia a la desaceleración mas no hay que bajar la guardia “, insistió Gutiérrez desde el barrio de Pachitea.
La ministra invocó a la población para que facilite las labores de prevención. “Ábranle la puerta de su casa a los fumigadores. Cualquier casa no fumigada se convierte en un posible criadero de zancudos portadores del dengue y pone en peligro a sus vecinos”, advirtió.
INFRAESTRUCTURA
Durante su visita a Piura, Rosa Gutiérrez se comprometió a trabajar junto con las autoridades regionales en el cierre de brechas en salud.
En ese sentido, visitó y anunció el pronto inicio de atención al público de dos nuevas infraestructuras: el Centro de Salud Materno Infantil de Castilla, Piura y del hospital de Chulucanas, en Morropón.
Asimismo, luego de su visita al hospital Santa Rosa, recorrió el terreno donde se construirá el Hospital de Alta Complejidad de Piura con un presupuesto de 939.5 millones de soles, el cual es una de las prioridades de su gestión.
