“Este año, nuestro país va a ser el de mayor crecimiento y menor inflación en América Latina. En estos momentos, somos el más solido de la región y eso lo hemos conseguido en los 6 meses de Gobierno en los que hemos relanzado el país”, indicó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial en entrevista con un medio de comunicación radial de Lima.

En esa línea, el premier enfatizó que en política exterior la posición del Perú debe ser una sola, independientemente de las discrepancias en la agenda interna. “Invoco al Congreso a que agende el proyecto de ley que permitirá a la presidenta Dina Boluarte ejercer adecuadamente la política exterior”, añadió.

Asimismo, recordó el diálogo sostenido ayer con el ministro de Asuntos Exteriores, Unión Europea y Cooperación, José Manuel Albares, quien ratificó el apoyo institucional y constitucional del Gobierno español a la presidenta Boluarte y al proceso político y democrático iniciado en el Perú.

FORTALECIMIENTO DE LA INTEGRACIÓN
Durante su segundo día de trabajo, los titulares de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) y del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores dialogaron con la presidenta del Congreso de los Diputados, Meritxell Batet, sobre el excelente nivel de relacionamiento entre Perú y España en los ámbitos político, económico, cultural y de cooperación. Además, coincidieron en el interés de profundizar y diversificar dichos vínculos.

En otro momento, la autoridad española felicitó y expresó su apoyo al Perú en el trabajo que desarrolla para procurar su ingreso a la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos (OCDE).

Posteriormente, el jefe de Gabinete y la ministra sostuvieron una reunión con el secretario general de la Secretaría General Iberoamericana (Segib), Andrés Allamand, en el que se trataron temas de interés mutuo como el fortalecimiento de la cooperación medioambiental, el acceso a la justicia, la transición energética, la migración ordenada y la seguridad alimentaria.

En el encuentro, el premier Otárola destacó la voluntad del Perú de impulsar su participación en los diferentes proyectos que impulsa la Segib en las áreas de educación y el conocimiento, la cohesión y la cultura.

Al finalizar la reunión, la canciller Gervasi entregó al secretario general una manifestación de intenciones para la adhesión del Perú al Convenio Marco para el Impulso de la Circulación del Talento en el Espacio Iberoamericano, que contribuirá a la promoción de prácticas y pasantías de estudios en empresas del espacio iberoamericano.

Con ello se ampliarán las oportunidades de capacitación laboral y se facilitará una mayor movilidad empresarial de directivos, trabajadores, profesionales, investigadores, inversores y emprendedores.

X CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL DE LA LENGUA ESPAÑOLA EN AREQUIPA
Como parte del esfuerzo por afianzar los estrechos lazos culturales entre Perú y España, el presidente del Consejo de Ministros y la ministra de Relaciones Exteriores conversaron con el director del Instituto Cervantes, Luis García Montero.

En la reunión, Alberto Otárola y Cecilia Gervasi saludaron el apoyo del Instituto Cervantes para que el X Congreso Internacional de la Lengua Española se realice en Arequipa.

Además, expresaron el interés de fortalecer las relaciones institucionales del Centro Cultural Inca Garcilaso, del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores del Perú, con el Instituto Cervantes, aliado estratégico en la promoción de la cultura peruana a través de sus sedes ubicadas alrededor del mundo.

La agenda de trabajo del premier y la canciller en Europa continuará el 7 y 8 de junio en la ciudad de Paris (Francia), Allí participarán en la Reunión del Consejo a nivel Ministerial de la OCDE.
