Las zonas liberadas corresponden a las cuadras 45, 55 y 20 de la av. Nicolás Ayllón, en las áreas de los pozos de ventilación 25, 26 y 19, respectivamente. Las principales acciones de reapertura se iniciaron el viernes 23 y finalizaron el miércoles 28.

Esta liberación de la vía permite el tránsito fluido en el carril central y en las vías auxiliares, que en los próximos días serán mejoradas.

Ello también generará la reactivación de los negocios y la disminución de la delincuencia en la zona.

La ministra Lazarte impulsó la liberación de estos tramos para atender el reclamo de la ciudadanía de la zona que se veía afectada por el largo cierre de la vía.

Cuando el tren subterráneo esté finalizado, los pasajeros podrán llegar de Ate al Callao en solo 45 minutos, en vez de las dos horas que actualmente toma recorrer ese trayecto en transporte público.

Cuando este moderno medio de transporte entre en operación, movilizará a más de un millón de personas al día y se conectará con otras líneas de tren y con otros tipos de transporte.

La liberación de la vía fue posible gracias al trabajo articulado del MTC, ATU, el concesionario Metro de Lima 2 y OSITRAN.
