El premier expresó el reconocimiento de la presidenta de la República, Dina Boluarte y el de la sociedad peruana, a este grupo de élite y rindió homenaje a sus mártires que dieron la vida en el cumplimiento del deber.

“La Dirección Contra el Terrorismo continúa pacificando el país, con acciones contundentes y eficaces contra un enemigo oculto, agazapado, oportunista y despiadado, hoy, únicamente en lo más intrincado de la selva del VRAEM”, manifestó Otárola Peñaranda.

RECHAZO A CAMARADA VILMA
Tras hacer un repaso histórico desde los inicios de la cruzada policial contra el terrorismo, enumeró los logros obtenidos en este sentido, como las capturas del primer alto mando de Sendero Luminoso, Osmán Morote; de tres miembros de la red terrorista internacional ABU – NIDAL, frustrando un atentado contra la Embajada de Israel; la captura del jefe máximo del MRTA, Víctor Polay Campos; la de Abimael Guzmán y su cúpula senderista, además de la Marco Antonio Quispe Palomino, alias Camarada Gabriel, entre otros.

“Hoy la lucha contra el terrorismo prosigue. Este 40 aniversario es un espacio importante para repasar nuestra historia, reflexionar sobre el camino recorrido y estar listos para responder, en el marco del adecuado uso de la fuerza y el respeto de los derechos humanos, al azuzamiento desembozado a la violencia que está realizando la narcoterrorista camarada Vilma desde su cubil en la selva del VRAEM, con ocasión de la protesta que están organizando opositores contra el orden democrático para medianos de este mes”, sostuvo.

“La camarada Vilma debe estar segura de que chocarán frontalmente contra esa alta muralla que son nuestras fuerzas del orden, de las cuales la Dircote, es un componente de altísimo valor”, finalizó Alberto Otárola.

Junto al jefe del Gabinete Ministerial estuvieron el ministro del Interior, Vicente Romero, el comandante general de la PNP, Jorge Luis Angulo Tejada y el titular de la Dircote, José Zavala Chumbiauca, así como otras autoridades.

En la ceremonia fueron reconocidos el ST1 PNP Rafael Michael Zelada Hilario, el ST3 PNP Juan Alexander Balvín Quispe, así como el ST3 PNP Anderson David Pardo Gallegos.

También se distinguió la labor del S1 PNP Omar Marcos Flores Díaz, el S2 PNP Diego Renzo Espinoza Gomero y el S2 PNP Alex Valenzuela Melgarejo, por las diferentes operaciones en las que tuvieron un importante rol en la identificación y captura de elementos subversivos en el Perú.
