La jefa de Estado explicó de manera prístina que estas medidas tienen por objetivo reactivar la economía regional y se ejecutarán en el marco del Presupuesto General de la República 2024, el primero que elabora su gestión y que será presentado antes del 30 de agosto ante el Congreso.

Entre las obras, la mandataria adelantó que se brindará todo el apoyo a Arequipa para reanudar la construcción de Majes Siguas II; además, se sacará adelante el nuevo proyecto de la carretera Central, una petroquímica en el sur que producirá fertilizante a bajo costo y garantizará la demanda de gas natural, e iniciativas de saneamiento en la región Puno.

En salud, la jefa de Estado informó que se construirán seis nuevos hospitales en Piura, Trujillo, Apurímac, Andahuaylas, Arequipa y Puno, con una inversión histórica por más de S/7 mil millones, y reiteró su compromiso para que se gestione el proyecto de un hospital a favor de la población de San Juan de Lurigancho, el distrito más grande del país.

Respecto a seguridad ciudadana, la dignataria dijo esperar que el Congreso conceda al Ejecutivo las facultades legislativas solicitadas por un periodo de 120 días, a fin de aprobar medidas que permitan enfrentar con mayor eficacia a la delincuencia y criminalidad.

La reactivación económica, la salud y la seguridad, subrayó la presidenta Boluarte, son los temas de este II Consejo de Estado Regional, en el cual se gestionarán acuerdos concretos para destrabar obras paralizadas y nudos administrativos o burocráticos.

“Nuestra agenda tiene que ser la agenda de las necesidades del pueblo peruano, la agenda país. El Ejecutivo y las regiones trabajamos por un país más justo y próspero. Un país en paz, una patria reconciliada, donde primen el diálogo y los consensos”, indicó la mandataria.

“Como demócrata, soy respetuosa de las preferencias ideológicas y políticas. Aquí hay gobernadores de diferentes partidos y tendencias. Mi compromiso es trabajar con todas y con todos. La única bandera de este gobierno es el Perú”, añadió en su discurso.
