Este acuerdo, suscrito por el presidente ejecutivo de la ATU, José Aguilar, el alcalde de la Municipalidad Provincial del Callao, Pedro Spadaro, y la regidora Roxana Rocha, en representación de la Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima, simboliza la voluntad de querer impulsar medidas para tener una movilidad más sostenible.

El presidente de la ATU destacó la importancia de trabajar de manera coordinada entre todas las autoridades para atender la problemática de los diferentes distritos de la ciudad y de involucrarse en la formulación del Plan de Movilidad Urbana (PMU), como un proyecto estratégico para la ciudad.

“El Plan de Movilidad Urbana es una hoja de ruta para toda la movilidad urbana en la ciudad, desde los desplazamientos a pie, los viajes en bicicleta, el transporte público y el privado; por tanto, nos involucra a todos y cada uno de nosotros”, precisó.

A la firma del acuerdo asistieron alcaldes distritales de Lima y Callao, representantes de 37 municipalidades de Lima y Callao, miembros del comité de gestión del PMU, gerentes de movilidad urbana, entre otros funcionarios vinculados a temas de movilidad y transporte.

La actividad organizada por la ATU, con apoyo del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), se realizó en el auditorio del Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú, en el marco de las actividades de la campaña “Muévete Sostenible” y de la formulación del PMU para Lima y Callao 2022-2042, que la ATU tiene a su cargo.
