Esta iniciativa alineada al programa ‘Con Punche Seguridad’ busca promover el arte y la cultura en todo el país, fortalecer el hábito de la lectura y brindar espacios seguros para que los niños y jóvenes se alejen de la delincuencia y las drogas.
Con el financiamiento de S/40 mil, la Casa Cultural Piedra Eterna contará con espacios adecuados y funcionales para el desarrollo de actividades culturales y educativas en el barrio. Así acondicionó una zona de lectura, una zona de área común y un almacén-biblioteca.
“Estoy muy contenta de volver y ver un nuevo espacio que se construyó con mucho esfuerzo y trabajo para que nuestros niños, niñas, jóvenes y adultos, a través de la cultura tengan actividades en aquellos barrios que de pronto tienen algún riesgo”, dijo la ministra.
“Los peruanos hemos sido parte de una encuesta nacional de lectura en el 2022, que indica que los peruanos leemos muy poco, estoy segura que con este tipo de iniciativas vamos a fortalecer este hábito lector y qué mejor que hacerlo en espacios seguros como esta casa”, agregó.
Finalmente, agradeció el respaldo del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas y el Ministerio de Interior, por sumarse a la iniciativa del sector Cultura, a través de sus planes ‘Con Punche Perú’ y ‘Barrio Seguro’, y formar parte de la inauguración de uno de los 51 espacios culturales que se abrirán a nivel nacional.
La Casa Cultural Piedra Eterna fomenta el trabajo comunitario a través del arte, la lectura y la animación cultural con el objetivo de crear experiencias significativas que promuevan el desarrollo del juicio crítico, el fortalecimiento de la identidad y el respeto a la diversidad en el barrio de Pesqueda.
Con el estímulo que recibió del sector Cultura, podrá ampliar su trabajo de promoción cultural, el arte y la educación en el barrio, brindando a las niñas, niños, adolescentes y jóvenes un entorno enriquecedor y seguro donde puedan explorar su creatividad y fortalecer su sentido de identidad. Así se beneficia a 1 200 niñas, niños y adolescentes.
Así, con el fondo no concursable obtenido, el proyecto implementó la construcción de un centro – plaza cultural, que está conformado por una biblioteca – almacén, un área común, un área de lectura – talleres y dos áreas verdes. Esta construcción combina el aspecto natural del cerro y la piedra característica de esta comunidad, con un espacio abierto multiusos para la comunidad de Pesqueda.
También se realizó la compra de materiales y equipos electrónicos y multimedia, necesarios para la ejecución de 25 talleres integrales de mediación de lectura y artística, con el fin de desarrollar estrategias centradas en lograr una ciudadanía más sensible y abierta a la apreciación de las diversas manifestaciones culturales.
Pesqueda cuenta con más de 15 mil habitantes. Ante la alta vulnerabilidad en seguridad ciudadana que enfrenta la región, Piedra Eterna apostó por utilizar las prácticas artísticas, pedagógicas y lúdicas como herramientas de transformación y desarrollo comunitario.
CINE CHIMÚ
Luego de ello, la ministra visitó el Centro Cultural Cine Chimú, beneficiaria de Casa Cultural del Plan RescatARTE, para realizar una visita y conocer los trabajos y avances del mejoramiento del tradicional lugar trujillano, gracias al beneficio económico de S/40 mil, entregado por el sector Cultura. Este proyecto beneficiará a aproximadamente 2 000 adolescentes y jóvenes interesados en la formación y apreciación cinematográfica.
El Centro Cultural Cine Chimú es una sala alternativa de cine, inaugurada en marzo del 2022, tiene como objetivo, promocionar el cine peruano en su comunidad, y crear un espacio de aprendizaje mutuo, principalmente entre los jóvenes, con interés en el quehacer audiovisual.
El proyecto nació en el 2019, con el sueño de recuperar el mítico Cine Teatro Chimú, un antiguo cine de barrio, muy popular por exhibir películas mexicanas e hindúes. Las mejoras están enfocadas en el mejoramiento estructural, como la recuperación e impermeabilización del techo del centro cultural que fue seriamente afectado en marzo de este año por las lluvias ocasionadas por el ciclón Yaku, así como de la implementación del sistema de alarma contra incendios, y adaptaciones estructurales.
CHAN CHAN Y TAKAYNAMO
Antes de estas actividades, la ministra visitó por la mañana el Centro Arqueológico Chan Chan, para supervisar las obras que se realizan para el Mejoramiento de los servicios turísticos públicos del conjunto Nik An, que está a cargo del Plan COPESCO Nacional.
Luego de ello, recorrió las obras que se ejecutan en la Huaca Takaynamo, ubicada en el distrito de La Esperanza, en el marco de los proyectos de conservación de la Unidad de Investigación, Conservación y Puesta en Valor del Proyecto Especial Complejo Arqueológico Chan Chan – PECACH del Ministerio de Cultura.

La Casa Cultural Piedra Eterna también fue beneficiaria del “Concurso de proyecto de arte para la transformación e innovación social 2022”, como parte de los Estímulos Económicos para la Cultura, con un monto otorgado de S/12,500.00.
Las intervenciones del Plan RescatARTE se implementarán hasta el 30 de noviembre de 2023 y se estima beneficiar a 130 mil personas con el acceso y disfrute a una diversidad de experiencias y expresiones culturales, que incidirán también en el fortalecimiento de la identidad cultural en cada uno de sus territorios, contribuyendo desde un enfoque preventivo a la reducción de los índices de violencia en barrios vulnerables.
