“Hemos sacado de la zona de peligro a nuestros compatriotas, pues llegaron a Roma 42 y con nosotros han viajado 25 en el avión presidencial. Los que llegaron a Roma y luego viajaron con nosotros han estado en calidad de transeúntes, como turistas o como estudiantes en Israel”, explicó.

La jefa de Estado informó que hay otros 52 peruanos residentes en Israel que han viajado hasta la ciudad de Quito con un vuelo chárter, gracias a una coordinación bilateral con el hermano país de Ecuador.

“Sabemos que los 52 peruanos que viajan hacia Quito son residentes en Israel, los cuales se han empadronado hasta ahora, pero esto es relativo, conforme se agrava la situación en Israel habrá más peruanos que acudan a nuestro consulado y nuestro embajador allá está pendiente de su atención, seguiremos coordinando con ellos”, dijo.

“Lo importante es que ya están acá los 25 compatriotas y los 17 que faltan están saliendo el 18 de octubre hacia Perú, es decir, los que se quedaron en Roma. Los otros 52 que están en Quito también serán traslados a nuestra querida patria”, agregó.

La presidenta Boluarte explicó que el Perú no cuenta con un avión oficial que haga un vuelo directo de Lima a Tel Aviv (Israel), como sí lo tienen otros países, y que el avión presidencial tiene que hacer varias escalas para viajes de larga distancia, por eso cuando estuvo en Roma ya pudo ir hacia Israel para traer a nuestros compatriotas.

“Hay situaciones técnicas que a veces se especula y se critica sin antes verificar. Los chárter privados no tenían autorización en esos días para aterrizar en Israel, como lo que sucedió con el chárter privado que mandó Ecuador. En cambio, Chile y Argentina sí tienen aviones oficiales del Ejército o de la Fuerza Aérea que han volado, pero, lamentablemente, Perú no tiene esa logística”, dijo.

La jefa de Estado anunció la compra de dos aviones Boeing para que el Perú pueda tener la capacidad de realizar puentes aéreos humanitarios de larga distancia en el momento que se requiera.

Los 25 compatriotas que llegaron a Lima junto a la mandataria Dina Boluarte le agradecieron por traerlos a casa en el avión presidencial y por haberlos atendido en Israel apenas estalló el conflicto en esa zona del Medio Oriente.

President Boluarte explained that Peru does not have an official plane that makes a direct flight from Lima to Tel Aviv (Israel), as other countries do, and that the presidential plane has to make several stops for long-distance trips, That is why when he was in Rome he was already able to go to Israel to bring our compatriots.

“There are technical situations that are sometimes speculated and criticized without first verifying. Private charters did not have authorization in those days to land in Israel, like what happened with the private charter sent by Ecuador. On the other hand, Chile and Argentina do have official Army or Air Force planes that have flown, but, unfortunately, Peru does not have that logistics,” he said.

The head of state announced the purchase of two Boeing aircraft so that Peru can have the capacity to carry out long-distance humanitarian airlifts whenever required.

The 25 compatriots who arrived in Lima with President Dina Boluarte thanked her for bringing them home on the presidential plane and for having assisted them in Israel as soon as the conflict broke out in that area of ​​the Middle East.
