Informó que en la segunda semana de diciembre se otorgará la buena pro del proyecto de ampliación de los sistemas de agua potable y alcantarillado de los sectores Paraíso Alto. “El contrato se firmará la segunda quincena de enero para, inmediatamente, comenzar la obra que beneficiará a 10 mil vecinos, con una inversión de S/ 80 millones”, precisó.
Respecto a la ampliación y mejoramiento del sistema de agua y saneamiento – esquema José Gálvez, sector 315, la titular de Vivienda dijo que en enero del próximo año se otorgará la buena pro para beneficiar a más de 6000 familias que después de 20 años de espera tendrán acceso a estos servicios.
Asimismo, comprometió a los directores del Programa Agua Segura para Lima y Callao (PASLC) y de Sedapal a firmar este mes el convenio para la ampliación del Esquema 300. “Entreguemos este regalo de Navidad, que tanto necesitan estas personas, porque ellos se lo merecen”, resaltó.
Sobre este proyecto, el director del PASLC, Carlos Lozada, refirió que se han identificado ocho proyectos que se vienen desarrollando y gestando, conjuntamente con Sedapal, en Villa María del Triunfo y que permitirán cerrar el 40% de brecha en conexiones de agua y alcantarillado con inversiones por 2,500 millones de soles.
OTROS PROYECTOS
En cuanto a las obras que ejecuta Sedapal en Lima sur, éstas presentan un avance al 44% y están referidas a la ampliación y el mejoramiento de los sistemas de agua potable y alcantarillado Nueva Rinconada en los distritos de San Juan de Miraflores, Villa María del Triunfo y Villa El Salvador. “Con ello, vamos a beneficiar a 416 mil personas, con una inversión de S/ 1,249.2 millones”, precisó.
Por su parte, el viceministro de Vivienda y Urbanismo, Hernán Navarro indicó que el Programa Mejoramiento Integral de Barrios, transfirió este año a la comuna de VMT S/ 12.2 millones para la construcción de pistas y veredas en avenidas María Parado de Bellido, 7 de Junio y calles internas de este distrito.
La ministra Hania Pérez de Cuéllar hizo este anuncio durante la reunión que sostuvo con autoridades, dirigentes sociales y vecinos de este distrito, en el marco de la feria informativa “Vivienda Marcha por el Agua”, en la que el sector Vivienda brinda detalles de los proyectos en ejecución y por ejecutarse.
En el evento participan representantes de varias direcciones del MVCS, Superintendencia Nacional de Bienes Estatales, Cofopri, el Organismo Técnico de la Administración de los Servicios de Saneamiento, Sencico, el Fondo MIVIVIENDA y Sedapal.
LUCHA CONTRA LA CORRUPCIÓN
Durante el encuentro, la titular del MVCS juramentó a los integrantes de siete comités de monitoreo participativo de obras (Comipos), que se encargarán de fiscalizar el desarrollo y ejecución de proyectos de inversión del MVCS, a quienes pidió combatir juntos la corrupción.
“Este Gobierno y el sector Vivienda están comprometidos en luchar frontalmente contra la corrupción. Basta de corrupción, la corrupción les roba el dinero para hacer sus obras y estamos decididos, en esta gestión de la presidenta Dina Boluarte, en combatir la corrupción”, enfatizó.
En otro momento, la ministra Pérez de Cuéllar invocó al Congreso para que apruebe el proyecto de ley de acceso universal al agua antes de que culmine el presente año a fin de que peruanos de escasos recursos tengan acceso a agua potable.
“El Ejecutivo ha propuesto la ley de acceso universal al agua y esa ley va a tener su financiamiento para poder distribuir agua gratuita, mientras llega la obra definitiva. Apóyennos para que el Congreso vote rápido a favor de esa ley”, expresó.
FENÓMENO EL NIÑO
En declaraciones a la prensa, la titular de Vivienda reafirmó que el Estado está mejor preparado para enfrentar el fenómeno El Niño, en comparación a lo acontecido con el ciclón Yaku, y que se ha multiplicado la capacidad de respuesta a la emergencia.
“Se han destinado casi 7,000 millones de soles para la prevención y respuesta, definitivamente el Estado peruano está mejor preparado de lo que estuvo para el Yaku. Las cifras, las maquinarias y el despliegue del personal trabajando así lo demuestran”, apuntó.
