En esta oportunidad, el titular de Cultura también inspeccionó los trabajos que se realizan en dichos museos de la región, ante la probabilidad del Fenómeno de El Niño.
En su primera actividad, la ministra recorrió las instalaciones del Museo Arqueológico Nacional de Brüning, donde se guarda un valioso patrimonio cultural. Asimismo, agradeció una serie de presentaciones artísticas que fueron preparadas para los visitantes.
El ministro destacó que “Lambayeque es una región importante para nuestro patrimonio. Por ello, en 2023 decidimos gestionar las intervenciones de forma preventiva, con una inversión superior a los 6 millones de soles. “Estamos protegiendo nuestros museos y sitios”.
“A lo largo de la costa peruana se está realizando un seguimiento de los fenómenos climáticos. Así, se coordinan acciones con las autoridades para intervenir en el Callao. En este caso, en Plaza Grau, para retirar algunos bienes como anclas, para protegerlos del oleaje”, añadió.
El titular de Cultura pidió a la población estar preparada ante cualquier probabilidad de fenómenos climáticos. “Quiero hacer un llamado a la población de la costa, principalmente, a estar preparada. Tenemos planes de contingencia del gobierno. Hay que seguir trabajando de la mano y de nuestro lado, tenemos que proteger nuestro patrimonio y su preservación”, afirmó.
La ministra afirmó que, desde su sector, se realizó una importante inversión para preservar el patrimonio. “Estamos trabajando desde el ciclón Yaku, por eso, hemos destinado un importante presupuesto, que servirá para proteger los museos y sitios, y también permitirá la reactivación económica con las visitas”, enfatizó.
“Hemos trabajado principalmente en los lugares vulnerables, para evitar deterioros. Estamos preparados y hemos hecho todo lo posible para preservar nuestro legado”, expresó.
Asimismo, invitó a la población peruana a visitar de manera gratuita, los museos y sitios arqueológicos administrados por su sector, el primer domingo de cada mes. “Están todos invitados. Tenemos actividades culturales y podrán disfrutar de nuestra cultura y el patrimonio”, finalizó.
Durante su visita al Museo Brüning, la ministra estuvo acompañada por el gerente de la Gerencia Regional de Turismo de Lambayeque, Félix Mio Sánchez; el director de la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Lambayeque, Enrique Muñoz y el director del museo, Carlos Wester La Torre.
Enseguida, la ministra también visitó el Museo Tumbas Reales de Sipán, donde inspeccionó los trabajos que se ejecutan en las instalaciones en el marco del Fenómeno El Niño. Igualmente, participó de los talleres que forman parte del programa de los MUA.
A su salida, sostuvo un encuentro con el arqueólogo Walter Alva, con quien dialogó sobre las obras que se realizan en los museos de Lambayeque y diversos proyectos de investigación cultural de la región con alcance internacional.
Durante su recorrido, la ministra aprovechó para supervisar los trabajos en la Casa Montjoy, que se ubica en el Centro Histórico de Lambayeque, que tiene más de 400 años de antigüedad y cuenta con el balcón más largo de Sudamérica. Es también llamada Casa de la Logia Masónica.
Allí se desarrollaron acciones preventivas con un presupuesto de S/241 202.62. Así se realizó el cambio e instalación de cobertura de los techos. En el interior, se realizaron apuntalamientos para la preservación de los muros estructurales más deteriorados y el apuntalamiento de los balcones exteriores. La Municipalidad de Lambayeque también realizó intervenciones a la par.
Finalmente, la ministra llegó al museo Huaca Rajada- Sipán. donde se realizó una feria cultural y un taller de pintura facial de los mochicas. Allí también verificó los trabajos que se desarrollaron como prevención ante el Fenómeno El Niño.
