María Mónica Moreno Saavedra, directora ejecutiva de Qali Warma, propició la reunión con Crisólogo Cáceres, presidente de ASPEC, en representación de los más de 4 millones de escolares, consumidores más vulnerables del país y que necesitan contar con productos lácteos. Además, Qali Warma es el programa que brinda servicio alimentario escolar durante todos los días del año lectivo.

La directora ejecutiva de Qali Warma informó al presidente de ASPEC que no se discute para nada la calidad de la leche, pero hay un déficit de este alimento que cumpla con la normativa sanitaria vigente, y que forma parte del servicio alimentario escolar, lo cual ya ha sido alertado. Por ello, Moreno aseguró que, ante este panorama, las combinaciones de alimentos, que forman parte de la modalidad raciones, cubren los requerimientos nutricionales de los usuarios.

Por su parte, el presidente de ASPEC confió en que el sistema de operación se desarrolle de la mejor manera, que las raciones se distribuyan a tiempo y de manera correcta y a los usuarios.

Moreno Saavedra señaló que Qali Warma continúa sosteniendo reuniones con los diferentes actores y asociaciones con la finalidad de encontrar alternativas de solución. Asimismo, invocó a la industria poder abastecer este requerimiento en beneficio de los consumidores más vulnerables.

Qali Warma garantiza que brindará un servicio alimentario escolar 2024 que cumpla con todos los requerimientos nutricionales de los escolares.

Para este año, Qali Warma brindará servicio alimentario para más de 4 millones de niñas y niños de 65 271 instituciones educativas públicas en todo el país, tanto en la modalidad productos y raciones, desde el primer día del año escolar.
