De esta manera, los Hospitales de la Solidaridad llegarán por primera vez al centro de Piura, beneficiando de manera directa a la población norteña con servicios de laboratorio y atenciones médicas con el buen trato que nos caracteriza.

Será la Beneficencia de Piura quien otorgará un amplio espacio al Hospital de la Solidaridad. El alcalde de Lima, Rafael López Aliaga, firmó el acuerdo con su homólogo de Piura, Gabriel Madrid Orúe. También participaron del acto protocolar el presidente del Consejo Directivo de los Hospitales de la Solidaridad, Dr. Luis Rubio Idrogo, la gerente general del Hospital de la Solidaridad, Dra. Elvia Lau López y la presidenta de la Sociedad de Beneficencia de Piura, Claudia de La Oliva Zamora.

“Estamos firmando convenios con diferentes municipalidades del Perú porque es parte de la filósofa social cristiana de compartir lo bueno. Queremos dar un mensaje de fraternidad, de un país que nace de amor para salir adelante. (…) Estamos firmando un convenio no solo de salud, sino también de integración turística, de ferias productoras y de seguridad ciudadana. Tenemos mucho que compartir de ida y vuelta.”, señaló el alcalde Rafael López Aliaga.

Por su parte el alcalde de Piura, Gabriel Madrid Orúe mostró su aprecio por la iniciativa, “quiero agradecer al alcalde de Lima Rafael López Aliaga y al Dr. Rubio en nombre de todos los piuranos. Gracias a este convenio vamos a iniciar un cierre de brecha importante en el sector salud, llevándole atención a los más necesitados.”

Cabe señalar que los Hospitales de la Solidaridad llegarán a las zonas más alejadas de Piura con sus campañas médicas itinerantes que ayudará a la población más vulnerable y de menos recursos de esta parte del país. En 100 días aproximadamente los vecinos del norte tendrán los servicios a su disposición con los mejores equipos y especialistas.
